Day Off

Noticing his familiar figure as he leaned against the wall, you ran towards him, feeling the slight beating of your heart despite the numerous dates. You called out to him, gaining his attention as a smile formed on his face. He waited for you to catch your breath as you stood in front of him. After a minute, Noctis grabbed your hand and started to walk in the direction of the usual cafe. "What should we do today?" He asked, sipping softly on the straw. You pondered for a moment, only to come up with a few ideas. "Let's play some games? A new game came out right?"

He nodded before replying, "You sure? That would be the usual, is that okay?" You smiled at his words and continued, "It's fine, all that matters is that we spend time together. Since, lately you have been busy with Prince duties." A defeated smile spread on his face as he agreed with you. Finishing the last bit of food on the plate, he paid the cashier before you could pass her the money. Grumbling slightly, you left the cafe slightly annoyed at him, knowing that this occurred for every outing. Walking while talking, you reached the castle and headed to his room. Reaching for the controllers without hesitation, you plopped on his bed and faced the monitor. Noctis laughed lightly at the pose you took and started the game. Once it started, Noctis had his own controller in hand and started the battle.

Throughout the entire game, it was filled with laugh and screams as you fought against the Prince. Checking the time, you realised that it was close to midnight. "Well that was fun." You stood up, ready to leave before being pulled back. Your figure fell, landing on your back against the soft mattress. Noctis had a smirk on his face as he pinned both your arms. "Not going to say goodbye?" You chuckled at his words and reached to place a light kiss on his cheeks. Looking at his eyes for permission to leave, he shaked his head and placed his lips on yours. Feeling the familiar sensation, you relaxed against his hands and accepted the feeling. Noctis released your lips and smiled at your red cheeks. He pulled you up and smiled, "Send you home?"

"Okay." You replied, holding his hand tighter. "Next time, let's play a different game."

He chuckled at the remark, "Alright."
