Halloween (Noctis X Wolf! Reader)

"Hey! Noct!" the chirpy voice sounded from the outside.

The raven haired only turned back, waiting for the continuation of his sentence. "Noct, there's a Halloween party being held in three days. Let's all go together. "

"A party?" Noctis gave the suggested idea a long thinking process, wondering if it was worth attending. "Is everyone going?""

The blonde nodded before commenting, "I'm sure it will be fun! You will get to meet new people as well."

Noctis sighed before accepting his idea. He looked outside, the sky was turning dark yet not too dark. Waving a quick goodbye to Prompto, he made his way outside, wandering at the open grass fields. It seemed empty and quiet, yet he could not shake off the feeling of someone's eyes on him. Turning in a full circle, his senses heightened, his stance reflecting his fast reflexes at the moment. Noticing a figure at the corner of his eye, he turned to the direction. Analyzing the figure, it had ears sticking out at the top of it's head, resembling a wolf's ears. Shifting the gaze downwards, it had a long fluffy tail, swishing behind. Despite these features, it exchanged a piercing gaze towards him. Instantly, the first thought that came to Noctis was the party he heard earlier.

"Are you testing your costume?" the figure's ears twitched slightly, before jumping on the tree it stood on.

Noctis shrugged in response, walking away, to ensure he would not meet any other people.

You stood on a slightly taller tree, thinking about the raven haired that called out to you. Due to your ears and tail, you hardly communicated with anyone that was different. As you would usually be hunted for the fur of your tail. After a short while of thinking, you remembered him mentioning about a party. Questioning it slightly, you decided to follow his smell. Convincing yourself that you were interested in the party and not the man, himself. You arrived in front of a large building, having it loom over your body - that seemed small in front of the building. Backing away from the building, you hid once you heard voices. Eavesdropping on their conversation, you tried to take in every information. After they finished their conversation, you heard about the party and it's location. Although, there was one problem that troubled you at the moment, you did not know the way to the location. You jumped to the nearest tree, your sensitive nose taking in the smell of the raven haired that you glared at. He was walking around, joking with his group of friends as they discussed about their outfits. Your eyes was focused on them, simply observing them. Once they left your sight, you thought for a moment before returning to your usual area. On the day itself, you would visit his house in an attempt to attend the party.

Cat ears was placed above his head, having a mechanism to move each five seconds. A long furry tail accompanied the head band, the colour being light grey. Noctis wore a hoodie that matched the accessories with  jeans, as he fiddled with the cat ears. The rest of the group was changed into similar clothing, the difference being the accessories that was worn.

He left the room, making his way to the front of the gate and started to pace randomly. Noctis looked around, finding something interesting to stop his boredom. His eyes darted around before landing on the tree before him, he looked up and saw you just watching him.

"Er...Hi?" he stuttered awkwardly.

You gazed at him, not returning his greeting. He continued talking, to avoid any silence. "Are you attending the Halloween Party as well?"

Nodding your head, you pointed at the cat ears on his head. "I didn't think you were cat." As you finished your sentence, you jumped down from the tree to stare at the ears on his head. A smile formed on your face as you reached your hand out to touch it before hesitating. "Can I touch it?"

He nodded, staring as you touched his ears. After a while, you gasped as you continued touching. "This ears..." He gulped at your pause. "Aren't real! You lied to me!"

As you said that, he burst out laughing and reached to touch yours. "Aren't yours only for the party as well?"

His hands stroked the ears before he stopped and notice as you tried to control your laughter. "Stop it... It's ticklish!"

The hands stopped as he grabbed it. "Wait...there's heat coming from these ears."

Noctis moved a few steps back and examined your figure. "Your half a fox?"

You nodded shyly as your hands covered the ears. Instantly, he grabbed your wrists and pulled you inside the house. "I need to tell the rest this! And your ears are soft and cute."

He had a smile on his face as you followed him inside the house. After you met the others, you regrouped with them before showing them the usual spots you stayed. The night was spent exploring the forest and mountains as you got to know the Prince. Slowly, spending more time with him as days past.
