You opened the map, silently checking the map. Ensuring that the town would lead to Cloud's destination. Once you finished checking, you sighed in relief knowing that it was the same direction. The trio making noise, one teasing the other. With all the noise, it never felt as lonely yet in your heart, you felt uncertain. There was something that seemed to disturb you, your heart never calm. You flipped open your phone, only to see one mail. Opening it excitedly, you felt sadness rush through you before that was replaced with anger. "That jerk!!"

Cloud's name that was reflected on your screen seemed to turn blurry as you hastily blinked back tears. "Oh, he is going to pay." Sora instantly rushed to your side, only to be interrupted as you quickened your pace. "Let's go and find this jerk."

"I'm sorry (Y/N)." He mumbled the words, typing it out into the phone. His buster sword weighing heavily on his back. "I don't know if I can return to you." Instantly, an image of your angered self seemed to fill his mind as he laughed bitterly. "I hope that with this, it will hurt less."

The picture that you forcefully put on his phone disappeared as he closed the phone. "Sorry." He shoved the phone into Fenrir, turning it off and silencing any noise it made.

The moment you set foot in the new town, there was scattered buildings similar to flowers planted by a child. You turned to face Sora that simply strolled in with his group, as you hesitantly followed behind. "Hey! Look its travellers!" Turning to face the voice, a blond waved in your direction, a bright smile covering his face.

"Where are you guys from?" He approached you, his other three group mates trailing behind. Your words interrupted with the raven haired slapping his back. "Introduce yourself first." The blond only smiled sheepishly as he waved a hand.

"I'm Prompto, you are?" You scanned his figure, watchful of his slightest movement. "(Y/N)."

After the introductions, you quickly made a small glance at the leader, ensuring that he was friendly. The lack of weapons raising a question in your mind. As your mind wandered for answers, you felt Sora tap your shoulder, instantly asking about your state. "Oh! I'm fine. What was the question again?" A smile formed on your lips as you redirected your focus to the blond. "What are you guys doing here? Something happened?"

Your jaw set at his question, as your mind instantly flashed an image of your favourite lover. The husband that left and has not returned. "Well..." Your voice trailed off as you cleared your throat. "A jerk husband of mine left the house on a so-called journey and has not returned. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and chase after him." The tone of your voice dripped with anger as your hands was balled into fists beside your figure.

Prompto had a look of shock casted on his face momentarily before he quickly asked, "What are you going to do after you find him?" There was a long silence before your answer came, a smile plastered on your face. "I'm going to ensure a bright, red mark of my handprint is engraved on his face."

They shared a look of pain before Ignis chuckled lightly. "I shall support your decision, (Y/N)." You smirked at his words, "Great! Should we travel together?" A look of camaraderie exchanged. The group quickly formed a circle, explaining each's plan.

Once the small meeting was completed, you looked at the skies, noticing the orange skies turning a shade of blue. "Well, it's time to find an inn!" Sora jumped energetically in front of you, his legs stretching from the amount of standing. Settling in a room, you laid on the bed, mind instantly flashing to Cloud, knowing that you longed for him.
