Sensitive [Part 2] (Noctis X Wolf! Reader)

You rolled around in his bed, his pillow basically covered in his calming scent. His pillow was held tightly between your arms, your face buried in the soft cushiony madness. Your sense of smell has always been good and sometimes it was annoying for you but at times like these, you always felt blessed. His scent made it seem like he was beside you which helped ease your loneliness slightly.

Noctis was off to settle some problems, a 'business trip' he called it. At first, you hoped he didn't go but the look in his eyes stopped you from begging. You didn't have the heart to stop him - when his eyes seemed sadder than yours. So, you resorted to twisting and turning in his bed, his smell filling the gap in your heart. Your ears twitched at the sound of rushing footsteps. The pillow in your hands forgotten, your hands grabbing the nearest blunt, heavy object in the room and eyes trained on the door.

It burst open and your stance weakened, seeing the familiar face you had been missing all week. "Noctis!"

You jumped towards him, the weapon landing against the floor with a loud noise but no one paid attention to it. Your arms wrap around his neck and his around your waist. "Miss me?"

Ignoring his words, you placed a kiss on his cheek, then moved to his forehead. As if checking his presence, he smiled at your affection but he had bigger plans. He turned, pressing your back against the door, and releasing his hands. You leaned forward, attempting to place another kiss on his face but felt his fingers reaching your waist, your ears twitching up in surprise. He did not hesitate in tickling your now, exposed waist. You could not stop the laughter escaping from your mouth as he continued the onslaught, your voice practically echoing around the room.

"Noct! I giv-" he continued, your words interrupted with each intake of breath and laughter. "I can't anymore-aH"

Noctis stopped, seeing tears filling your eyes, his hands moving to pat your head instead. "I missed you too."

You looked up, his bangs framing his face perfectly with his model-worthy smile. You smiled and leaned towards his touch, missing him more than ever.
