redstar was going to make larkkit and swiftkit apprentices before he headed to the moonflower to recive his nine lives.
"larkkit from this day forward" he spoke to larkkit "till you recive your warrior name, you'll be known as larkpaw"
"rockfur i trust that larkpaw will be in safe hands"he said looking and rockfur.
"thankyou redstar" said rockfur as he bowed his head.
redstar turned and faced swiftkit.
"swiftkit, from this day 'till you recive your warrior name, you'll be known as swiftpaw"
"icebreath, i trust that you'll teach everything you have learned"
"th-thank you redstar" icebreath couldn't belive she just got her first apprentice!!!
"SWIFTPAW,LARKPAW,SWIFTPAW,LARKPAW!!" yowled moonclan.
Once it died down ,redstar padded to the nursery to cheack on his kits. all the cats renturned to their normal duties.
"hi, i'm sssooo glad your my mentor" said swiftpaw "your one of the bravest warriors in the WORLD!!"
icebreath laughed a little at the apprentices amirence of her.
"well, i think your going to be the best apprentice in the world!" said icebreath.
"REALLY!!" swiftpaws eyes sparkled.
icebreah nodded. rockfur touched the tip of his tail on icebreath's spin. she looked at him. larkpaw was standing next to him, bursting with excitment.
"icebreath" he began "where's pinecloud, i haven't seen her or moonfur today?"
"why do you ask?" Said icebreath.
"because their suposse to travel to the moonflower tonight with redstar" said rockfur worried.
"i'll go cheack in the medicine cat den" said swiftpaw.
"okay" said icebreath looking at her apprentices anthusiasum.
Swiftpaw skipped to the medicine cat den.
"she'll be a handful" said moonfur coming out of the entrance/exit of camp.
"where have you been!" shouted rockfur.
"i went to find some catnip"
"okay, whatever moonfur" said rockfur annoyed with his sister.
Icebreath saw her apprentice slowly come out of the medicine cat den. The look on swiftpaw's face was shock.
"sw-swiftpaw what's wrong?" asked icebreath worried.
"pin-pinecloud" began swiftpaw shaklily "s-she's DEAD!"
"WHAT!" yowled moonfur. She went running in to den.
"she wasn't that old to die of old age," said icebreath "let me see her" icebreath walked to the medicine cat den. Moonfur was standing over her mentor's dead body.
"it looks like she cocked on something" said moonfur looking away from her sisters gaze.
poor moonfur, thought icebreath, first she loses her kits now her mentor!
Icebreath nodded, in the coner of her eye ,she saw something red.
"wait a second" said icebreath looking at her neck. the slice in her neck was deep, it looked fresh like, it happedned last night.
"look at this moonfur!"
moonfur walked to her sister and eximened the slice.
"s-she w-was MURDERED!" screached moonfur.
I reconize the claw marks on the rest of her body, said icebreath to herself, i sorta used the same slice through the neck thing on the pinestar. icebreath put her paw on pineclouds body and sighed.
icebreath saw something black, caught inbetween pinecloud's claws.
"uh....." she said outloud.
"what?" asked moonfur.
"oh..nothing"
"okay" said moonfur walking out of the den "i'm going to go and tell redstar about this"
icebreath nodded.
good,said icebreath in her mind ,she's gone.
she pulled out the black fur that was inbetween pineclouds claws
I reconize the scent but, not the color, thought icebreath, this is DARKHEARTS FUR!!!!!
