Icebreath walked back to camp. Moonfur ran out of the tree root where she kept her kits.
"the-there gone?" asked moonfur.
"y-yes moonfur" repiled icebreath walking up to her sister.
Moonfur started tearing up.
"it's okay" said icebreath trying to sooth her sister "they'll be safe"
"i k-know" began moonfur "b-but IT'S SO HARD!" she cried.
Moonfur cried for a while before icebreath decided that crying wasn't going to help here.
"let's get something from the freash kill pile....i bet there's some rabbit" said icebreath trying to make her sister happy again.
Moonfur nodded and together, the two sisters walked back to camp. Icebreath pushed away the vines of camp and walked over to the fresh kill pile. Moonfur followed her and sat down. Icebreath picked up a nice, juciy rabbit. Icebreath took the rabbit to her sister. Moonfur turned away and looked in the nursery. She saw mousepelt curled up with icekit, mudkit and hawkkit. Moonfur started tearing up. icebreath dropped the rabbit and looked at her sister.
"l-look at mousepelt w-with h-her k-k-kits" moonfur struggled to say, trying not to cry "som-sometimes i-i w-wish i wasn't a medicine cat"
Icebreath sighed "lets just eat okay".
They bent down and started eating the rabbit. PInecloud came racing out of the medicine cat den, with furry and panic.
"MOONFUR WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN TODAY!"pinecloud exclaimed.
Moonfur's secret won't stay a secret for long, thought icebreath.
"i went to go to find icebreath after the storm last night" she lyied.
"well while you were prancing around the forest" yowled pinecloud "darkheart almost died kittening, and applestar is losing his LAST LIFE!!"
"WHAT?!" exclaimed icebreath.
"pinecloud calm down" said redpelt as he came padding out of the medicine cat den "there's no use in yelling, he's already dead"
"so...that means redpelt is the new leader of moonclan?" asked icebreath.
"yes..."said moonfur preatty upset.

Icebreath walked in the medicine cat den to see her mentor and leader for the last time. She saw pinecloud looking at applestar with grief. Cause pinecloud was applestar's litter mate.
"p-pinecloud?" asked icebreath "h-how did he die?"
"well i guess of old age" she said. But something caught her eye. Pinecloud looked at applestars mouth and stood there in horror.
"i-i can't belive it" screeched pinecloud "h-he w-was MURDERED!!!"
"What do you mean?" said icebreath curious "there's no claws marks on him so, why do you say he was murdered?"
"icebreath come over here" said pinecloud pointing to applestars mouth "look at that"
"um....pinecloud....thats blood" said icebreath.
"nope" said pine cloud as she shook her head "it's death berry juic ,and i would know cause i'm a medicine cat"
"a-are you sure?" asked icebreath warrily.
"i'm positive" she replied.
"okay, so the cat that killed applestar probably gave him a pice of prey stuffed with deth berries" said icebreath "so the last cat to give applestar prey must be the killer"
"mousepelt" whispered pinecloud under her breath.
"what? why did you say mousepelt" asked icebreath.
"mousepelt gave him prey last" said pinecloud rasing her head "MOUSEPELT KILLED APPLESTAR!!"
