Chapter 24 "Saved"

Icebreath couldn't belive what just happened. a two weeks ago she became deptudy and now she was in exil forever!

"i'm not leaving your side ever icebreath" said swiftpaw "i know you didn't do any of that stuff"

"i hate my family other than you and stonefur" said icebreath.

"w-who's stonefur?"

Icebreath opend her mouth to speak but she heard orangefoot and darkheart running after them.

"i'll tell you later but first we need to run!" said icebreath running. swiftpaw caught up to her and tried to keep up the pace. swiftpaw caught her foot in a rabbit hole and couldn't get free.

"i-icebreath i-i'm stuck!" yowled swiftpaw.

Icebreath turned around and tryied to help the apprenice out of the hole. But darkheart and orangefoot had finally caught up to them.

"it all ends here icebreath" said darkheart "i've been waiting a long time to see you die!"

"darkheart, its not moonhigh yet"

"mousestar knows your plans, and knows you will come back"

"mousestar?"

Darkheart leaped to kill icebreath when suddenly a flash of red and black pelt pushed darkheart out of the way.

"Lorie gorgie" yowled icebreath happily "i've never been so glad to see a fox"

"run breath ice" yowled gorgie "we'll take care of them for you"

Icebreath nodded and finally got swiftpaw free. they went running out of moonclan teritory and into fireclan teritory. they ran into the twoleg place and sighed.

"i-i think we lost them" said swiftpaw.

Icebreath nodded.

"so...who's stonefur" asked swiftpaw.

"h-he's my mate from another clan called riverclan" said icebreath "we used to meet everynight untill lately....he hasn't shown up for a while"

"oh..i'm sorry" said swiftpaw. Icebreath scented lorie and gorgie coming back.

"come out of now breath ice" said gorgie.

Icebreath and swiftpaw crawled under the fence to where the two foxes stood.

"thank you so much" said icebreath.

"we have repaied you for saving lories life" said gorgie "we must be heading on our way"

icebreath nodded. as the two foxes left.

"remember if you need anything, come and get us we'll be in the next medow over" said lorie as she padded off.

"y-you know those foxes?" asked swiftpaw.

"yes their friends of mine" said icebreath.

they walked back to moonclan teritory.

"w-why are we headed back here?" asked swiftpaw.

"i-i can't walk much farther" said icebreath "we need to stay in moonclan teritory for a while"

"why?"

"cause.....i'm going to have kits any day now" said icebreath.

Moonfur's POV

Moonfur was shocked that icebreath was resposible for pineclouds and redstar's death. Moonfur knew she up to something. Moonfur saw darkheart run out of the entrance panting. she was all bloody up.

"w-what happened!?" asked moonfur.

"i-icebrath and swiftpaw" she said. cat gathered around darkheart, even mousestar.

"w-where's orangefoot?"asked floerheart.

"h-he's dead" said darkheart.

"icebreath killed orangefoot!"screeched moonfur.

"nope" darkheart shook her head "she's friend s with foxes and they set us up, the foxes killed orangefoot and nearly me!"

"foxes?" asked mousestar "she's getting her army ready"

"i don't think so" said darkheart as she pushe moonfur and mousestar into the leaders den.

"what do you mean" said moonfur.

"only we can disscus this" said darkheart "but she's been meeting this other clan cat and well..i think she's not going to far from moonclan teritory"

"what are you saying darkheart" said mousestar.

"she'd expecting kits anyday now but, i thought moonfur would have caught on her sighs" said darkheart "until those kits are old enough to hunt, icebreath and swiftpaw are going to stay here for a while"

"but we can't let her know that we know" said mousestar.

"thats why we wait for the perfect moment" said darkheart "then we'll strike!"
