Chapter 23

LUKE'S POV

Bethany came towards me whilst dragging Beau and Jai with her. They did not look happy.

"Found these door knobs" Bethany said grinning.

Door knobs?

"Door knobs?" Myself, Jai and Beau said at the same time. Whilst giving Bethany a confused look.

"Whaat, don't give me that look it makes me feel like an idiot" Bethany said.

"Well maybe cuz you are" I muttered hoping Beth didn't hear.

"I heard that!" Beth gave me evils.

Oh crap!

"Well are we going to find the others or not?" Jai asked.

"Yeah lets go" Beth replied.

"Wait I think we should split up into two teams to make it easier to find the others, Beth you're with me and Beau you're with Luke" Jai said standing by Bethany.

What? I wanna be paired with Beth.. Wait what am I saying. I've lost it. Or maybe I wanna be paired with Beth to mess with her.. Yeah that's it.

"Yeah, okay fine whatever, let's go Beau" I frowned.

BETHANY'S POV

Luke looked upset about this whole teams thing.. Hmm weird.

Me and Jai carried on walking around the house figuring out where the others may have gone to hide.

"So, I'm guessing Luke found you first?" Jai asked, glancing in my direction.

"Yeah, unfortunately" I replied. Jai chuckled.

"Where did you hide?" Jai asked.

"Ehh you know just in the kitchen, underneath the um table" I replied suddenly embarrassed by my choice of a hiding spot. Jai just laughed and shook his head.

"Wow, nice er hiding spot"

"Shurrup it's a terrible hiding spot I don't know what I was think-" I was interrupted by Jai shushing me by placing his finger on my lips.

"I think I heard someone" Jai whispered.

We started to walk slowly towards the bathroom I think and Jai slowly opened the door, I saw a shadow of a figure in the bathtub standing behind the curtains.. Me and Jai looked at eachother and I opened the curtains revealing..

"Hey James how's it hanging?" I said smiling widely.

James looked like he'd seen a ghost.. Poor guy we scared him.

"Erm hey guys, I was just admiring the curtains they're a really beautiful colour" James said whilst gesturing towards the plain white curtains.

"They're plain white James" I said.

"Hey it's still a beautiful colour" James defended himself.

"Jeez, I didn't know you loved the colour white so much" I replied.

"Are we seriously talking about the colour of the curtains?" Jai asked.

"Yeah you're right lets continue searching for the others" I replied.

"Yeah, um you two can go I'm just gonna use the bathroom for a sec" James said awkwardly.

"Ohkay then, leggo Jai" I said whilst grabbing his arm dragging him out of the bathroom.

LUKES POV

I was walking with Beau trying to find the others, we heard some talking down the hallway so we made our way there and I saw Bethany arm in arm with Jai..

I stormed over to them and pushed myself in-between them.

"Sup guys, any luck finding the others?" I said causally but inside I felt a pang of jealousy? I wanted to push Jai away from her but Jai's my brother I can't let a girl get in between us it's bros before hoes right? Anyways what is wrong with me I can't feel jealous over that, I'm obviously not thinking straight.

"Umm yeah we found James but he's occupying the bathroom right now" Bethany replied looking at me weirdly.

"Aah right, so anybody seen Abbi, Aaron and Daniel?" I asked them.

"No, not yet and where's Beau gone?" Jai asked looking behind me.

I turned around and saw no one.

Where the heck is Beau?

"That's what I just asked you" Jai replied in a duh tone.

"Wait I said that out loud?" I asked.

"No I kinda just read your mind" Jai replied.

"Really? Did you actually?" I asked excitedly.

"No he didn't cuz I heard it too, unless we're triplets" Bethany said.

"Ha ha very funny" I said sarcastically.

"Hey don't you use your sass on me boy" Bethany retorted.

"I'll use my sass on whoever the eff I want capiché?" I replied.

"No I do not 'capiché" Beth responded.

What the hell

"That didn't even make sense, did it?" Jai asked.

"Nope it didn't make sense it's nonsense" I replied.

"Hey that's not fair you're playing two against one" Bethany whined like a three year old.

"Since when were we playing games?" I asked confused.. She confuses me too much I'm surprised she hasn't confused herself.

"Well we.. We are, hey we're in the middle of one right now, hide and seek remember" She defended.

"Oh my God you're so annoying, how can anyone have a decent conversation with you without getting irritated?" I stated annoyed.

Hurt was evident on Bethany's face and I saw her eyes glisten a bit as she gave me one last look and ran off..

Oh sh!t..
