LUKE'S POV
The school day has finally ended but now I have to go to detention with Bethany, my day just could not get any worse. Sure we used to be best friends but we aren't now. I make her life miserable and she makes my life miserable. I may have had a crush on her when we were little but I don't anymore.. I don't like her and I never will, let's just get detention over and done with so I can get out of this place.
I made my way to Mrs Harley's room because she was doing the detentions today. No one was here yet which was good I can stay here in peace.
Mrs Harley walked in and sat down at her desk and after a few seconds Bethany came in and sat in the front row whilst I was in the back. When she walked in she looked around and just shot daggers at me. I didn't care i just shot daggers at her back.
BETHANY'S POV
I made my way to detention in Mrs Harley's room and I looked around and saw Mrs Harley at her desk going through some paperwork and Luke was sitting in the far back row, he looked up at me and I just gave him my meanest look, because of him I'm in detention and he returned the favour by shooting daggers at me.
I miss the days when we were best friends and when we used to get in trouble, we always used to mess about in detention and pull pranks on the other students or sometimes the teacher depending on who was taking over detention on that particular day. It used to be so much fun when we were kids we always used to be inseparable and...and then since year 7 Luke has always been on my case and it's really annoying. So I decided if he wanted to play this way then so was i, he can't just treat me like shit and
expect me to do nothing about it!
After 20 minutes Mrs Harley stood up and was on her way out of the classroom. "Don't talk, stay in your seats in this room until I come back" Mrs Harley ordered. Sheesh we're not kids well I ain't anyway, I'm not so sure I can say the same about Luke though. Mrs Harley had now left the room and there was complete silence until Luke got up and started taking selfies.
"What are you doing?" I whisper-shouted. "What does it look like I'm doing, I'm taking a selfie" Luke answered it like as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Once again being sarcastic. Classic Luke. "No I meant do you have to get up to take a selfie of yourself?" I asked. "Well the light is better near the window so I will take my selfie hear and it's none of your business" Luke replied. He was right it is none of my business it's not that I care about Luke getting caught pshht course not. "Whatever but I'll say I told you so when you get into trouble" I said. "Why do you care anyway?" Luke asked. Oh god now what do I say? "Well I just wanted to be the person to say I tried to warn you, and anyways i'm a nice person, unlike you" I replied. Luke just scoffed and sat back down at his seat.
There was one burning question that I wanted to ask Luke for years, but I never had the chance to ask him properly and I wanted to say it when it was just us two alone. I think now is the perfect chance, well it's better now than never right?
"Luke?" I asked. "What?" Luke replied. "I..Ermm.. It's just that umm.." I stuttered to ask him. "Look if you want to tell me something then you should probably say it quicker before you get me in trouble" Luke said. "Well then, okay I just wanted to ask you that umm" I closed my eyes and said very quickly "Why do you hate me so much?" There I said it.

Ohhh what do you think Luke's answer will be? Why does he hate her so much? Please comment your thoughts and please vote vote vote. It will seriously motivate me! Sorry for the really short chapter I just wanted to upload today :) xxx twitter: @janoskinators01 x
