Chapter 25

BEAU'S POV

As soon as we got the Food we headed back to our seats when I heard Beth and Abbi talking about something all I heard was something to do with an apology and I saw Luke tense up in front of me.. Hmm that was weird.

"Who's apologising and for what?" I asked the girls. Beth nearly jumped out of her seat and her eyes widened.
"Errm it's.. It's nothing important or any of your business" Beth quickly responded avoiding our gazes.

"Well we get you you're food and you're being rude to us?" I gasped in fake shock pretending to be offended. Beth just gave me the 'seriously? Not now' look and we all just sat down to eat and didn't discuss the matter any longer. But something was going on and I'd like to know what it is sooner rather than later.

LUKES POV
I knew they were talking about me Abbi and Bethany are best friends after all and best friends tell each other everything or figure stuff out. But I am hoping to apologise to Beth even though I don't know why she found what I said really offensive since she doesn't care about my opinion and we seem to hate eachother. We're going to be hanging out later in the evening at ours so maybe I'll get the chance to apologise then.

---In the evening---

BETHS POV

I wore my white top with blue jean shorts as I left my hair in its wavey state, (pic of Beth^) Abbi still kept pestering me about what Luke had done so I finally told her and she didn't understand why I was really upset by it and to be fair even I don't understand why I was so upset.

I got a phone call and checked my phone to see Ryan calling me,
-Start of phone convo-
Beth- Hey Ry, what's up?
Ryan- Hey beautiful I was just calling cuz I miss ya
Beth- aw I'm missing ya too Ryan, we should definitely hang out tomorrow
Ryan- Tomorrow? How about tonight?
Beth- Can't do tonight we're heading over to the brooks' residence to hang out, hey you should come along too I'm sure Beau and Jai won't mind, I don't know about Luke though
Ryan- umm sure what time?
Beth- about 7ish and you alright with that? You seem a little hesitant
Ryan- yeah it's just I'm still a newbie of the group I'll feel like I'm intruding
Beth- honestly you won't be the guys love you, once again still don't know about Luke but he's like that with everyone don't take no offence
Ryan- haha okay then I'll be there, bye babe
Beth- byeee
-End of phone convo-
"Is Ryan coming too?" Abbi asked.
"Yep told him to meet us there, so are you ready? I'm really hungry lets go down and eat something" I said whilst grabbing my phone and leaving my bedroom.
"I thought you'd never ask" Abbi said right behind me.

"Hey sis I made you and Abbi some sandwiches thought you'd might be hungry" Liam said as he handed me a plate of sandwiches.
"Oh my God you are a lifesaver I needed these, love you bro" I said whilst hugging Liam and holding onto the plate of sandwiches he oh so kindly made, well that's my brother for you the best big brother I could have ever asked for, even though sometimes he can get on my nerves.
"Thanks Liam, you gonna have some sandwiches?" Abbi said offering the plate of sandwiches to Liam.
"No thanks, I already had some I have to leave they've called me in for a night shift at work cuz Tommy called in 'sick' you know he recently just got a girlfriend so I'm guessing it's something to do with that and not being sick" Liam replied grabbing his jacket and car keys.
"Wait! Can you give us a ride to Gina's house?" I asked my Liam.
"Why can't you just walk it like you usually do they don't live that far they're just across the street" Liam replied.
"I don't really feel like walking today" I reply pouting my lip. Liam just stares at me for a second before replying.
"Fine, you lazy bum, I would have said no if you didn't give me that look it reminds me of when you were little and you could get me to do anything for you when you gave me that look like letting you stay up and eat Ice-cream until you got a brain freeze".
"Haha I remember those days, you weren't much of a great babysitter letting me stay up late and watching horror movies" I replied remembering those times.
"Okay as much as I love a good bonding moment we gotta go otherwise we're all going to be fashionably late" Abbi spoke up.
"And what's wrong with being fashionable late?" I asked.
"Well Daniel just texted that if I don't get my pretty little ass at the brooks' in 5 minutes there will be consequences" Abbi replied wiggling her eyebrows.
"OH MY GOD TMI" Liam and I both shouted at the same time.
"I'll let you guys in on the details of you don't get out of this house right now" Abbi said shooing us out as I quickly grabbed the remaining sandwiches to eat on the way there.

We were all sitting on the couch just talking as I mentioned that I invited Ryan over and if they were okay with that and everyone said definitely except for Mr. Always stays in a bad mood for not apparent reason. He just gave a look like I just invited over his enemy..
Since I've come to the Brooks house I have noticed that Luke is acting weirder than usual he's avoiding eye contact with me and it looks as though he's feeling slightly uncomfortable. Although I said i hate Luke but deep down, way way deep down I still care for him as we did used to be best friends for a really long time until he suddenly decided I'm not good enough to be his friend anymore. That really hurt me and it still hurts me as much as it did that day even though it was years ago. They say pain heels in time but why am I still feeling the same amount of pain that I did years ago? I was interrupted out of my thoughts when I saw Luke standing in front of me asking me to follow him as he "wants to talk". Hmm I wonder what this is about.
