Chapter 24

LUKE'S POV

I was gonna go after Beth but I was stopped.

"Wait here I think it's best if I go after her" Jai said as he ran off the same direction Bethany went in.

JAI'S POV

I ran after Bethany and stopped her in the living room.

"Jai just leave me alone for a bit" Beth said turning away from me.

"No you're obviously not okay just tell me what's wrong, you usually don't even take Luke's bullsh!t to heart so why do you seem upset now?" I asked.

"Urgh I just I-I don't even know myself, I'm just being really stupid right now" She replied hesitantly.

I don't one hundred percent believe what she's saying.. There's more to it.

"Are you sure about that?" I questioned.

"Umm yah alls good, it was just a silly thing to do running away like that I don't really feel upset or anything at all nope nada" Bethany replied, but it sounded as though she was trying to convince herself of what she just said.

"You know you can tell me anything right? Even if you don't understand your emotions or whatever yourself, I could give you advice if you need it, I'm good at that too not just Luke" I said reassuring Beth.

"Aw thanks Jai and I will do, so shall we go back upstairs and find the others?" Beth suggested.

"Yeah we probably should, but I have a feeling they're not upstairs" I said.

"What do you mean?" Bethany asked confused.

I pointed at the closet in the hallway downstairs.

"What? Who's in there?" Bethany asked.

I just raised my eyebrows at her and her face just looked like as if it lit up and she finally got it.

"Ohhh Abbi and Daniel" Bethany replied.

"Yes, now sshh c'mon lets go scare them" I said dragging Bethany towards the closet.

"Why do you keep shushing me it's annoying and rude" Bethany whispered annoyed.

"Cuz it's fun and it makes me laugh" I replied smirking.

"Well I'm just gonna poke you till you get annoyed" Beth said whilst poking me numerous times .. Non stop.

Oh now she definitely needs to be taught a lesson!

I quickly grabbed both of her hands with my right hand and the other hand on her mouth to stop her from making any sound and I dragged her to the nearest room down the hallway and tickled her to death after I knew Abbi and Daniel won't hear her scream.

"Jai p-please I-I can't can't breath oh my dear lord" Bethany yelled out of breath.

She is way too ticklish and we always use it against her.. I know it's kinda mean but it's fun.

"Okay okay I'll stop now will you walk with me to the closet quietly and not whilst poking me?" I asked her slowly almost treating her like a school kid.

Well she was acting like one, pouting and folding her arms. She looked really cute.

"Fine! but only if you promise not to tickle me again" she said.
