I sighed and walked around the store aisles one more time, making sure I had everything I needed.

I had bought some.. Lady.. products, I bought a few snacks for my daughter and her friend, a few different types of soda, some mountain dew, a pudding mix, cookie mix, everything you need for an eight year olds slumber party.

What I hadn't found out until about ten minutes ago was that she invited these two other girls, girls that I knew to. They were nice kids.. sometimes. They were little bossy brats, and they thought they had the right to everything first.

I sighed. Poor Bandit. This poor innocent kid with one friend was going to come over to a sleepover of four, and be bullied? I think-fucking-not.

I finally finished, and not a minute too late. it was exactly three. I packed everything neatly in the trunk of my car and rode off to pick up my daughter from school. I got there and pulled to a stop, behind another black car almost identical to mine. I opened the front seat door for my daughter, since the trunk and back were full.

"Hey You." I said smiling.

"That was Bandit!" She shouts, looking out of the cars front windshield, right into the car in front of us, where a cute little brown, long haired girl waved vigorously, trying to get out attention.

Hailey waved back, and then smiled softly.

"Bandit is my best friend!" She smiled a wide smile that looked like it could break her face in half.

"When is her father bringing her over?" I asked, glancing at her as I drove down the road toward our house.

"At three fifteen" She answered me in a sing-song voice.

"What?! Thats like five minutes from now.." I sighed and glanced at her. Its okay, I got it. When I was little I always wanted my friends over RIGHT after school. Not at five.

I pulled into my driveway, and as I did Hailey was already opening her door.

I grabbed her bag when we finally stopped, and she jumped out. I turned off the ignition and slid out of the car.

She was bouncing on her heels at the front door, and I walked up and unlocked the door.

She was such an excitable little kid, it was adorable..

I heard a car pull up behind me, and I turned as I pushed the door open, to see the bright yellow car that parked in my driveway.

Jennifer and Delilah stepped out of the front seats, both looking disgustedly at me.

Jennifer's daughter Ella hopped out, from the left side and ran to her mom.

Delilah's daughter Kiki jumped out of the right and ran to Ella.

"Hiya!" Hailey waved excitedly and then waved all four of them over. "Lets go play!!" She shouted and then ran inside and upstairs.

Ella and Kiki looked at their moms pleadingly, and they both nodded in unison, before watching their kids run off.

Both mom's walked up to me.

"So. How have you been, Riley." Jennifer asked, disgust dripping off her every word.

"I've been good. How about you?" I asked politely, wearing a smile and gesturing for them to come in.

"Well, I'll say I've been GREAT." Delilah said, walking in.

Jennifer was hot on her heels.

"Yeah." She said, walking into the kitchen and sitting at the table, where Delilah sat next to her.
