As soon as he left I picked myself up from the floor and wiped the fake tears from my eyes.He really believed me.I walked over to the mirror and saw my eyes all puffy and red from the tears.Damn I could be an actress.I think and laugh at the thought.
*Beep Beep*
I look down at my phone and see a text Message from Jace.
Jace*All right I'll do it*
Me:*Thank you so much*
Jace:*Yeah whatever*
I shut off my phone and climb into bed.Tomorrow going to be a really good day.Cause you know what they say Karma is a bitch.
Next day-
Lurick POV
Right now I'm sitting in a pack meeting with my father and beta.But all I could think about was her.
"Bro are you okay?"Revo ask with concern.
"Yeah I'm fine."I say back quickly."This meeting is over."They nod and leave.I need to get my mind off her.Just then Eve walks into my office.She walks over to me sitting on my lap.
"Did you miss me?"She ask licking her lips.I nod and bring her lips to mine.She moans giving me access.I quickly remove her shirt and little shorts.When there is a knock on the door.
"Ignore it baby."She whisper before nibbling on my ear.I groan and go to remove her bra.Another knock comes from the door.
"WHAT!"I yell.Just then the door burst open revealing a very sexy Essence.She wore a black leather jacket, with a white shirt and blue jeans.Her hair damp and wavy.
"Look at the noble king."She spits"Having a little quickie with the town slut are we."She say stepping into the office.I move Eve behind me shielding her half naked body.
"Get the fuck out!"I yell.As Eve scrambling to get dressed.
"Why you gotta yell so much man take a chill pill."She says.Eve steps from behind me.
"What the fuck do you want,bitch"Eve spits at Essence.
"Oh Lurick I think your dog is a little angry."Essence says with a smirk.
"I'll show you a dog."Eve spits.
"You don't have to I'm looking at one."She says and in a flash She crosses the room face to face with Eve.
"I'm about to whip yo ass."Eve growls.Essence laughs holding her stomach.
"I'd love to see you try"She say in between laughing."Unfortunately that will have to wait,I need to talk to lover boy here."She says blankly.
"And what is it you have to talk to me about?"I ask with a fake smile.
"A member of my pack wants to visit and -"
"No."I cut her off mid sentence.
"What!"She shouts.
"Hell no,fuck no, shit no.What don't you understand."I ask throwing my hands in the air "What you thought I was just gonna let some filthy mutt you call a friend come into my home.It's bad enough I have you here."I say making Eve laugh.
"Well to bad I wasn't asking."Essence says as the door bell rings"I'll get that."She says running from the office.I follow.When I get to the bottom for the stairs I see her in the arms if some random guy.
"Who is he?"Eve ask with wonder in her voice
"I don't know."I say growling.I turn back to Essence "Why is he here,in my house."I growl.
"Because I invited him here."She spits back."Now if you'll excuse us"She says walking past me and shoulder bumping the shit out of Eve making her stumble.
"Bitch."She mutters when Essence walks away.
"TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE!"Essence shouts from the top of the stairs.
Essence pov
I walked Jace to my room.I had to get him out of there.I don't like the way that rachet bitch Eve was eyeballing him,like she was in the desert and he was a tall glass of water.
I really missed him.I can't believe he snuck across the pack line for me."I'd do anything for you."He says pulling me into a giant bear hug again.
"Sooooo how's everything back home."I ask as he sits on the foot of the bed
"Fine, everyone is waiting for you to return,they fear for you."He says looking me in the eye.
"I know,I know we'll only be here for a few more day and then we can go home okay.I say with hope.Jace nods rubbing his tired eyes.Just then a light Knock sounds at my door.I rush to open it and behind stands Nessa.
"Yes."I say with a smile for I was truly happy for once.
"The king wishes for me escort your....."friend "to his room.Jace nods and stands grabbing his duffel bags.He kisses me on the forehead and follows a shocked Nessa to his room.I know what you're thinking best friends don't kiss each other.But I don't care what y'all think. I was finally happy.I thought as I lay in bed and let sleep take me.
