I sat on the bathroom floor in my towel holding the black box in my hands as I remember the first time I met Jace.When I hear someone banging on my door.I didn' have to guess who that was.I didn't wanna see Lurick right now but he had other plans.Not even 10 seconds he broke the bathroom door,and was standing over me.To say he looked mad would be an understatement,but I had other things to worry about and he isn't one if them.

He roughly pulls me off the floor by my shoulders.I hold my towel in one hand and my box in the other.He claws dig into my skin as he forces me to look at him.

"I asked you one thing.To stay in the fucking room.Did I not."He says so low it's almost threatening.almost.When I don't answer he digs his nail deeper into my skin,but I don't even flinch.

"Now you have caused a fucking war amongst my people.Half of them want to see you hang and the other half praise you for doing what you did."He says pushing me.He walks to the bath tube,sitting on the edge.Placing his head in his hands.

"What half are you on."I says,my voice low and raspy form lack of water.

"What does it matter."he says not even lifting his head.

"It matters because you are there king.Whatever ever side you choose is the side they must follow.So what fucking side are you."I yell get angry.I wasn't just him I was mad at.

" This whole situation is fucked and it is  starting to drain me.So I no longer have the tolerance for you to come at me with your bullshit.I just need to know,what side you are on."I bark at him

"I don't answer to anyone especially not a rouge."He says and stands to leave.

"You just did."I whisper.A few seconds later I hear the door close.I walk out of the bathroom a few minutes after.I put my bra and underwear,and walk over to the box sitting on the bed.I pull off the lid off and what's inside brings tears to my eyes.There was the shoes I wore when I broke me leg and the needle from my first tattoo,and other things from our 10 years of friendship that had now come to an end.I pull out a picture of Jace and I when we first met.I turn to the back and begin to read his horrible hand writing.

Dear Essence,

You are fractured in such a way that people can almost love you.  I wish I’d met you before you manually replaced your heartbeat with trepidation. Or stopped you when you tried to anesthetize the feeling of waiting. I am witness to the unraveling of your broken now. You are humble to a fault about what pains you, only speaking aloud of dying dreams and their foiled expletory in jest. I fight not to step away from you when you do. And I know you are wading  to be undone, but your hands are fine for holding and crying does not mean you have negated years of growing and I’m a big boy so remember I am here because I choose to be. I promise I am not the family you had before. It’s okay to wade through demons and nightmares And it’s fine to slip confessions virtually into my mind , that I may stumble on them three days later and wish you hadn’t walked memory lane alone. Broken people are not consigned to damaged love.

I was to busy reading the letter that I didn't hear the knock on my door.I turn to see Revo looking lustfully at my exposed body.He quickly turns away.

"My bad.I knocked you didn't answer so I thought you fell asleep or something."He says really fast.I nod as I get dressed in some sweats and and a plain shirt.

"I can come back later if you want"He says still not looking at me even though I have clothes on now.

"No, you can stay."I say patting the spot next to me on the bed.He comes to sit and sees the picture of Jave and I.I grab it from his hand along with the box and place it on the night stand.

"I just came to check on you see if you where okay."He looks me in the eye and I can tell he really cares.

"I'm fine just really hungry."I say back to him.

"I knew you would say that."He laughs and pulls a bag of Taco-bell from behind his back.I smile and pull him into a hug,then grab the bags.We sit in silence as I shove my face with triple X's nachos.

"Your mate must love you."I say with my mouth full.His turn sad suddenly.

"Yeah she is."He mumbles.

"What's wrong?"I whisper and stop eating.

"How bout you eat and I talk."He smiles at me but it doesn't reach his eyes.I nod and resume eating.

"I went down to vist one of my old friends from high school about a year ago.He and his mate where in the area so we decided to meet up.When I got there I saw his mate holding a little girl.I automatically knew she was my mate.She was really pretty with dark hair and eyes like yours,but she was too young so the next morning I had the bond broken."He tells me his voice going flat at the end.

"How old was she?"I ask moving closer to him.

"She just turned 6 last month."His eyes light up when he speaks about her."No one knows not even Lurick."I nod understanding why he told me this.

"Thanks for telling me.It's nice to know you trust me."I say looking into his eyes again.

"It's nice to finally trust someone."And before I know it his lips where moving closer to mine

Cliff hanger I know I suck but I'm in Huston Texas right now on vacation so please forgive me if I don't update that much during the next few weeks or so.
