I woke up to the strong smell of cologne in the air,and the feeling of soft silk on my skin instead of the cheap ones that cover my bed.I sit up instantly regretting it as I remember everything that happened before I passed out.I groan and fall back on to the soft bed.
"Hey take it easy Rusha sayed you might feel sore for the next week or so."A deep voice mumbles in the darkness.I recognize Luricks voice.I must be in his room.
"What time is it."My voice cracks
"7:26"He whispers back.
"So I was only out for a few hours,that's not that bad."I mumble as I try sitting up again.
"It's Saturday."Lurick says the bed deeping as he lays next to me.This uncomfortable on so many levels right now.
"Wait so I've been knocked out since Thursday afternoon."I say my head hurting as I yell.Note to self inside voice.
"Yeah."Lurick whispers with sadness.Why is he sad?I'm the one that feels like I just got hit by a fucking truck.
After a few minutes of silence he speaks."I have some pack business to attend to.You can stay in here.Nessa is on her way up to get you anything you want,OK?"He says getting of the bed.
"Ight."I whisper nit wanting to fight with him right now.
"We can talk when I get back.Just please don't leave "He says softly and leaves.I get up and find my way to the bathroom.I turn on the light and look in to the mirror.I look the same in different clothes but that's it.It was the red shirt Lurick had on that day.But other then that's no cuts or scraps.Then,why did I feel like shit.
I use the bathroom,wash my hands a lay back down.Just before I fall asleep someone turns on the lights,burning my eyes.Once my eyes adjust,I see Nessa holding a tray of food.She walks slowly over to me,her head looking at the ground.Somethings not right.
"Nessa look at me."I whisper.She shakes her head.
"Nessa look at me,now"I command.Nessa reluctantly lifts her head.I gasp as I see her bruised and bloody face.She looks like how I feel.
"Who did this to you?"I whisper as I pull her into my arms.She begings to cry and sob loudly.I hug her and comfort her.Once she stops she pulls away.
"Who did this to you?"I ask again.
"I can't tell you"She says whipping away her tears.
"You can and you will."I say more forcefully then I ment to.Nessa shakes her head no.I could already guess who it was I just needed her to say it.
"I'm only going to ask you one more time.Who did this to you."
"Eve did."she says"She is mad that I told you she was lying.She says I made her look like bad in front of the king and I had to pay the price."As Nessa explains.But all I heard was Eve did and that's all it took for me to forget that I was in pain.
"Come with me."I say calmly to Nessa.She nods and follows.We step out of Luricks room into the quiet hallway.I follow the sound of voice and I'm met with another hallway only this time it's full of people.They glare at me as we silently make our way through the crowded hallway.
"Where are we going."Nessa whispers
"No where."I reply blankly because I really have no idea where we are going.But I know who I'm looking for.
I can see the judgment in the eyes but I could really care less right now I have some business to handle.
We make our way down 3 flights of and stop at the huge ball room.I step into the room and see that's it's a council meeting.Lurick sits on a throne beside his father and beta.Next is his mother and sister I think they both look related.Then try the 12 elders surround them.I look to see the rest of there pack sitting at a long dining table.
At the end sits the one and only Eve.I storm into the room hopping across the table grabbing Eve by her throat.People scream and gasp as I drag her across the room by her nasty blonde hair.I grab a glass vase full of water smashing into her face till it shatters.She screams and begs for me to stop.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU WEAK ASS BITCH!"I yell as my fist smash into her face over and over again.A feeling of joy comes over me as I feel her bones crack underneath my hand.Until I'm ripped from her by one of the guards.And I can't help but smile as she lays knocked out on the floor.I spit in her face to put the cherry on top.
I look around the room to see angry and shocked eyes.I look at Lurick and see rage,then I look down into Nessa's little small eyes.She looks at me and turns away not saying a word.
"Take her to the caves."Luricks father barks.
"No at least let her explain."The beta commands.
"She is a beast,a complete monster.She deserves to die."His mother yells outraged.I look at Lurick my eyes pleading for him to help me.But instead he walks out as the guards drag me down to the caves.
