"SUMMER SUCKS!!

It's near the end of Summer and I'm on the edge of killing something... Again! Wyatt and I lay side by side everyday in my old treehouse. We kissed again but this time my skirt came off along with his shirt. This is the third time we've almost had sex up there. There's no love, just lust -between us. He's my oldest friend and neither one of us want that to end that over something as ridiculous as lust.

Stephan and Mason are coming down for mom's funeral then I'm moving with them to Crystal Cove because -unfortunately- Stephan is my legal guardian; not my grandmother, not my cousin -Marie- not her husband -Louis XVI- not even their children -who moved back to France half a decade ago. I'm stuck with the vampires from the Renaissance!

I received my birthday gift from my dad, yesterday -a month and a half late. It was a silver, heart-shaped locket with angel wings and inside was a note saying 'I'm always near. Never take it off.'

Who the hell is he?

Who the hell is he?

I remember jack squat about him! All I do remember is that he has dark hair, bushy eyebrows and brown eyes and I remember that because I have those features too. Mom's eyes are blue, her hair is brunette and her eyebrows aren't bushy.

Onto Daniel. He moved to Crystal Cove about four days ago. Grandma and Marie say that nobody can know his my Bond, especially Stephan. He was my original Bond but after he left, my soul's darkness consumed me so now I'm a real goth like Wyatt.

I wonder if I'll keep writing to myself in Crystal Cove. Maybe not, I'd have people to hex and tantrums to throw. I'll even be too pissed at the world to write about how pissed I am.

That's legit it

Monroe Dé La Core."

Monroe placed the letter on her desk and picked up the one from last week. With her trusty lighter, she set the letter on fire and dropped it into trash can next to her desk, watching the words 'HELP ME! I cried for hours...' burn.

The words brought back the memories of that moment. The moment Monroe walked into the mansion's library and found her mother dangling from the ceiling fan. A tear escaped her eye, slithering down her rosy cheek. 'I don't cry!' She reprimanded herself, feeling the urge to torture herself for it.

She picked up the dagger her grandmother gave her mother and slit her wrist. The warm, thick, wine-like blood streamed down her forearm before stopping and retracting back to the cut before the wound healed. "The joys of the Dé La Core curse." She hissed.

To a certain extent, her family wasn't cursed. The original Dé La Core witch, Ravenna, had an awful experience with her drunken husband once. She then cursed her daughters so that once they're married and their last daughter is born, the husband would die. Unfortunately this curse effects Ravenna's direct descendants -unlike Marie Antoinette. The only reason Monroe's father didn't die is because he and her mother never got married, fortunately.
