Lysandra was walking towards the throne room, that had been restored while they were out. They were finally in Terrasen.

She was now to meet the court and convince them she could be queen.

But Lysandra wasn't ready. Not as she saw Evangeline seating, Fleetfoot at her feet. Ren and Murtagh by her side.

Evangeline smiled at her and she could feel her heart cracking. She had to tell her that Lysandra, herself, did not come back. How could she ever do that?

But then Evangeline started running towards her. "Aelin!" She laughed as she hugged her.

A tear fell down Lysandra's_ Aelin's cheek. "I missed you" she whispered.

"Aelin" Evangeline repeated "where's Aelin?"

Lysandra's heart skipped a beat. "I'm..." she looked at herself on the mirror. She was still Aelin. Then how...

"She... she's coming. Soon, I hope." She answered softly in her hear.

She got up and opened the doors to the throne room.

And then she looked up at Terrasen's courtiers.

Lord Darrow stood up. "I'd told you if you came here again without my invitation it would be seen as an act of war. Is that what you wish?"

"I promised you to bring you an army, so Terrasen could fight and defend itself on this war. I did it."

Darrow laughed. "So you come here, despite what I had told you, with armies and you expect me to think you're helping us?"

She had not thought of that. Aelin would have. But Aelin was far far away. And so Lysandra lifted her chin and decided changing her tactic.

Aelin had risked herself for all of this, and still they didn't believe her.

"We have allies from Adarlan, from Wendlyn, from Antica and from the desert. We have trained assassins and legions of warriors. We have ironteeth witches and soon Crochans too. Ruks and sea I brought all this because I promised I would." She exploded. "But if you don't believe me after all this, it's your choice whether to be with us or against us."

Lord Darrow didn't even flinch. Lysandra commanded her powers to make her eyes turn gold. Like Aelin's did.

At that Darrow's expression changed a bit. "Is that a threat? You can have all that. But Morath's forces have all the ironteeth witches, except for those at your command. They have thousands of Adarlan's soldiers and lots of otherworldly creatures. You think you can fight it?" His eyes looked at hers. "We will all die."

"If they win we will all die anyway. Why not try?" Her voice was hoarse but she didn't mind. "We will fight anyway. With or without you. We want to save this world. We want to change it. Because" she looked around at every courtier seated there." the world will be saved and remade by the dreamers."

Just like Aelin had said at Skull's Bay.

Lysandra turned to Darrow again. "I'll wait for your decision."

And then she turned away and left. Tears sliding down her cheeks.

Aedion was out there. "How did it go?" But he shut up after looking at her face.

She walked towards him and hugged him with all the force she had left. "I miss her. I need her." She said. "I don't think I can do this on my own."

"You're not on your own." He said, pressing a kiss on her forehead. "I miss her too. Everyday."

"Let's go." Lysandra said, loud enough for them to hear it. "They'll send their answer soon or we will start without them."
