All you see is a face;
Soft edges,
Dark spots,
& Dusky skin.
All I see are eyes;
Slightly judgemental,
Enigmatic stares,
And condescending glares.
All you hear are words;
Confidently crafted sentences,
Major emphasis,
And sensitive syllables.
All I hear are banshees;
Irritable screeches,
Sardonic laughter,
And deadly notions.
All you speak is positive;
Optimistic prudence,
Carefree advices,
And comic relief.
All I speak is grim;
Endlessly critical,
Pragmatic lies,
And disorderly disasters.
All you'll ever be
Is a moralistic wail,
But all I've ever been
Is a cautionary tale.
