I'll live without your sacred forgiveness
of crimes that broke your pride.
My eyes have purged you out
of my conscious
that's cleaner without your false indignation.
I took your words to be the Gospel;
I chanted the rules you made
and followed them daily like an oath.
Your rapture was my temple
to reach there I drove the car of compliments in the name of prayer.
I sang hymns of your grandeur
but the act was never reciprocated,
I idolized someone else in your body.
