I was sat talking to my step dad alone while my mom occupied Evie I explained everything to them and my step dad grabbed old files of his

"So this was his reason for being fired..."he said and there was a full statement about him putting pills in people drinks and I explained what happened to josh with her dad and a pill and Conor was kidnapped and etc and also Evie was given one of the pills when younger

"Wait Evie was given a pill..."I said

"Yes So What happened to josh happened to josh and I took her to hospital and she has had it horrible because she was so young"my step dad explained

"Do you mind if I take this?"I asked

"Be my guest Caspar if It's gets Evie away from that man than so be it"he said I smiled and thanked him and we joined my mom and Evie and chatted for a while then went to go get lunch

At lunch

"So how you feeling about this..."I asked evie and she finished what she was eating and answered

"Well obviously like...this has happened before but I feel like it's more scary because if this keeps happening I'll be back into the adoption centre because it's a rule if you get adopted if I get in hospital a fair few times or something to do with court that involves my adoption than I can be taken back"she said and my eyes widened I never knew that

"And once my dad gets a thing that could be used against conor that's another mark that sends me to adoption...and I can never see him again"she said and little tears went down her face

"Fuck..."I mumbled

"The only way is for him to get put into prison and he can't do anything"she said I nodded

"But obviously if you use things to use against him to get sent to court it wouldn't but another mark on you going to the adoption place"I said she through for a second

"I dunno"she said finishing her food as I did and it was silent for a while I was shocked if that happens like if Evie dad keeps dragging Conor into court about Evie that could be the end of it

Conor POV
It isn't fair it just isn't because that girl cannot be put back up for adoption or sent to her dad and me never see her again it just isn't fair...I think it's just making me feel annoyed and sad to be honest...then jack came in my room followed by joe

"Mate,where off golfing to cheer you up"jack said

"How the fuck can golfing make me feel better it's like such a dad sport"I said moodily joe started laughing a little

"You are a dad!?"jack exclaimed

"Not for long"I mumbled they stood quite I know they felt sorry for me but they shouldn't it's going to happen it's the rules of adoption if she gets sent to hospital or if there a Croat investigation involves her and it's a regular thing that she goes back to adoption the one off with her dad it was annoying but now it shows he not gonna give up

"Boys come on!"josh said I sighed and walked upstairs and out the doors with the boys

At golf

"Joe this isn't is helping me because in the back of my mind is Evie getting sent back because she in fucking court to many times"I sighed he looked at me

"Whacha mean?"he said concerned

"If there a Croats case regularly about her and we keep going she goes back into the adoption place"I said he looked at me as he was driving the golf cart

"You serious"He said

"Mate! Yes why would I lie!"I said he sighed

"I didn't fucking know that"joe mumbled and parked up the golf cart and we walked towards the boys

"Boys did you know Evie could get sent back if she has been a court case about her and Conor goes regularly"joe said josh jacks eyes widened

"I kinda knew but didn't believe it"josh said

"Fuck off"jack said looking at me I nodded

"Yeah Mate...Anyways Who's Go is it?"I mumbled changing the subject

"Joe"josh said

I sighed...wonder how Evie getting on
