Evie PoV
"They has to be another file somewhere"I sighed Caspar took the file with him to London because we came here when we came here last time when all of the boys came to South Africa but it went down hill from there
"Sorry...no backup file nothing"Caspar step dad said
"I can't do anything...I came here empty handed"I sighed
"Not exactly...we just need Caspar to get over here without telling him your here"he said getting out his phone and going on it
"Okay so how do we get him over here?"I said he was texting someone and then he pressed send and looked up at me
"I just sent him a message saying come to South Africa it's urgent"he said
"It's not that urgent"I said
"It isn't to me but to Conor and you and a little bit of Caspar it is"he said getting up
"Come on..leave it to me but for the time being enjoy yourself here"he said gided me to the living room and he asked Caspar mum Emily for a word and left me with Caspar sister Theo again
"So..."Theo said
"Your step-dad said that he text Caspar to come urgently because he took the files that I need"I said
"Perfect you'll get what you want and go back with conor"Theo said
"It's isn't that easy Theo...unfortunately"
Conor POV
Joe told me to come round as soon as possible he was with josh and Oli so I went to his and I knocked on the door and he opened it
"Perfect timing he'll be here in a hour probably"joe said letting me in
"Who He?"I questioned him
"Evie birth dad he knocked on my door and said if you was here and I said no and he said tomorrow and that is today I want him to be here so he wants you here now and he'll knock on the door"joe explained as we walked to the living room
"Can I answer the door?"I said he nodded the boys laughed I said hi to josh and Oli
"Evie's dad didn't even tell you why he wanted conor did he?"Oli said joe shook his head
"The last time his name was brought up was court months ago"I said
"Did you see him in court?"josh asked I shook my head
"When I talked about what he did They said there no proof and his story wins but it remains unnamed to ,e which is a bit wired, why can't I know his story?"I said moodily then there was a knock at the door
"I thought you said a hour"I said to joe he nodded
"Old man is early"I say getting up and I opened the door we looked at each other dead in the eyes and he was breathing heavily in anger and he pushed me against the wall
"Woah! Hold up!"joe said and Oli joe and josh was stood up
"Where is she"He said
"What a mean where is she? I have no fucking clue?!"I said
"STOP LIEING SHE WITH YOU NOW GIVE ME HER!"He spat
"She isn't here she at the adoption place! Where you put her!"I said he unpinned me to the wall and walked into joe living room me and the boys looked at each other confused and followed him
"I went there you asshole and the women said she missing! It's obviously you or Caspar!"he yelled
"Caspar and I don't have a clue!? Is she in London?"I asked
"Yes! She went out and has not returned apparently"he said look at the boys
"She looking for us or me"I said they nodded I small smile appeared a warm smile
"First time after months you've smiled when sober"joe said
"Not so fast popstar"Evie's dad said I turned around...then I realised he needs to be given what he deserves
"I would have to go through this if you just leave her alone"I said
"She mine and not yours"he said
"Also why did you give her a pill!"I said
"Twice...the only got it documented that I did it once"he mumbled I looked at him disgust...twice...Okay now he made me angry how could he do that to a girl I attacked him onto the ground
"Conor!"joe called out but I ignored him
"You will be done with and put in jail..."I said
"We don't have to fight like this...if you just gave me to her and let me carry on my old life"he spat again.
he fucking gross
"What by rapeing her again...sure"I said sarcastically he smacked me and I punched him several times and I wouldn't stop just pulled me off him and he snorted blood on joes floor josh kept hold of me because I could punch him again and again I was tensed up
"How's it feel to get punched by a 25 yr old when your a fucking 40 yr old man!"I said
"Someone help me up and hide me out this hows away from this psycho fuck"he said and joe helped him up and guided him out and gave him a tissue for his bloody nose and as the door shut josh spoke up
"I don't think conor the psycho fuck he was defending Evie"josh said
"Right you can clean that up!"joe said giving me a role of paper towels
I looked at my phone and checked the time it was 5:00 pm and there was a text from Caspar from the buttercream group chat
Caspar:off to South Africa tonight last minute it's urgent it's to do with my family
"Caspar gone to South Africa I think he family in trouble"I said as I clear his blood away
"He could have helped you"Oli said
"I know...wonder what's happened?"I said josh shrugged and as I finished clearing it up I put the tissues in the bin and gave this floor spay to joe and he put it away
"Anyways I'm off to talk to jack...he might wanna go out tonight with Mikey and Anth"I said
"Conor you went out with us last night and Caspar and you've been out almost every night your not at the studio"joe said
"I know but...it's Anth last night in the uk and..."I said but trailed off what I was saying
"And what?..."Oli said
"I just can't cope boys...she was everything and now she gone it's like a breakup"I said the looked at me Wait sorrow and I walked out the door
It's true...I can't cope any longer
