So the last time that I posted I posted the prologue. That chapter was dedicated to your character and how you came to the new world. This is now the part one because I decided that you are going to meet the gendberbent character from here on out. So enjoy.

Note that you will have a wardrobe change. I decide when. Okay, let's start.

You watched as the people around you started to adapt to the land that they stepped foot on. Immediately workers began to set up and make their homes. You saw as Governor Ratcliffe carried his pug Percy and walked around. His personal manservant (as you saw it), Wiggins was trailing behind. You felt bad for Wiggins honestly. You knew that he wasn't fit for this type of adventure. He should've stayed back home. But oh well. You were brought out of your thoughts when a hand on your shoulder. You looked and saw your brother.

"Aren't you going to go be in the houses by now. Ours is done" he asked and you shook your head.

"Nope, I'm going to explore the woods" you exclaimed. He then frowned and before he spoke you cut him off.

"Before you go off two things. One, I can take care of myself. And two, I have my knife hidden in my skirt just in case" you interrupted with confidence. He smiled at you. He knew that. As much as he didn't want you exploring the woods just yet, he knew that he couldn't stop you.

"Just be back here before the stars are out.  I don't want you to get lost on your first day," he said. You fake saluted him.

"Yes sir" you mocked.  He laughed and you playfully punched his arm before taking off to the woods. You were so excited! You got to finally explore the forest like you wanted to all day. You made sure your knife was secure to your thigh as you started running. As you ran freely through the forest, a young man in the Pamunkey Indian tribe just slipped from his father's eyes and was also in the forest. His name was Pocohan and he was the chief's son.  He was by the waterfall with his best friend, Nokoma. Both were neglecting their duties. While Nakoma was in a boat, just rowing her way through the water, Pocohan was on top of a waterfall, on a rock that wasn't wet with water. Nokoma looked up and saw her best friend up there and became frightened. She didn't want to return home to say she witnessed her best friend jump to his death.

"Pocohan get down from there. We have to return home!" she yelled. Pocohan shook his head and then jumped off the cliff and into the water. The big splash made Nokoma's clothes soaked with water. As she tried to find him, he was underwater and was preparing to flip the boat over. And he did. Nokoma fell in the water face first and the boat covered them both. Pocohan laughed as Nokoma chocked on the water. She glared at him.

"That wasn't funny" she glared.

'C'mon Nokoma you love me. Admit it. It was funny" Pocohan laughed and then splashed water in her face. She laughed and then they started to have a water fight. After a while, they both got tired and decided to head home. You were still out in the woods and the stars had yet to appear. You looked around and saw nature at its finest. This was the best part of the whole trip. There wasn't much of this at home unless you traveled far like really far. But here. You could just take a few steps and then you are surrounded by nature. As you were admiring what Mother nature had bestowed on you, Pocohan and Nokoma got back to their tribe without being detected. But then someone revealed that the chief wanted to see his son. Waving goodbye to both the messenger and his friend, Pocohan made his way to his tent that he and his father shared. He goes in to see his father and a familiar Pamunkey Indian that went by the name of Kohana (Kocoum). She sat there with a blank expression as if she was waiting to be told what to do. The chief then smiled at his son.

"Pocohan my son! Come, sit down. I have news to share with you!" He exclaimed. Pocohan then sat down. His nerves were through the roof. He had a feeling of what his father was going to say and he didn't like it. Then out of nowhere, his two pet companions, Meeko and Flit approached him. Meeko was eating a cracker and sat beside him, while Flint was on his shoulder.

"You asked for me father?" Pocohan asked. His father nodded.

"Son, now you and I both know that you are becoming of age. It is time for you to be married. I have decided for you to marry our greatest warrior, Kohana. She is the best in the village which means that you have the best chance for the strongest children. I want you to marry her soon my son. Because once you do you will become chief of this village" he exclaimed. Pocohan was shocked. He didn't want this. He never wanted this. He knew it. And instead of telling him no, he got up and ran out of the tent. Meeko and Flint were right behind him. His father called him but then when he heard no response, he sighed. He knew that he wouldn't take the betrothal well but it has to be done. Kohana still sat there like she always did.

Now back to you. It was starting to become dark but still, you had time. You have been out for hours and to be honest you did not want to go back to the town just yet. You walked around some more before you saw the waterfall. You looked at it in awe. You then sat on a rock and looked up. Out of nowhere you heard rustling and being protective of yourself, you took out the knife.  Then you saw Pocohan. His face was red and he had tears in his eyes. You gripped the knife and stood up. He looked at you in awe. He had a feeling you weren't around here but he couldn't help but stare at the foreign beauty before him. He held his hands up in surrender and you lowered your knife slightly.

"I come in peace" he yelled. You looked at him in shock.

"You know the common tongue?" you asked and he nodded. Then you full lowered the knife. He put his hands down.

"My name is Pocohan and I am from the Pamunkey tribe. What tribe are you from?" he introduces himself.

"A tribe? What do you mean a tribe?" you asked back. He looked dumbfounded.

"You are from a tribe are you not?"

"No. No, I am not. It is me, my brother and his his crewmen. We came to start a new life" you answered and he stood silent for a moment. Foreigners? They are coming here? For what?

"Do you know what for?" he asked. You shurgged.

"I overheard my brother and his crew. They come in search of gold"

"But we don't have any here. Our gold is corn. We survive off of that" he said and then you were silent. He then came closer to you which ignited an unfamiliar sensation in your body. He then lifted your chin up to look at him.

"I know you mean no harm but I can't say the same for your brethren" he replied.

"I can say the same for you" you smiled and he did too. You found it cute. You then looked up to see the stars trying to shine. You had little time to be home.

"I must get going. I shall see you another time Pocohan" you rushed and then you started to walk back but him yelling stopped you.

"What is your name?" he yelled. You smiled

"[Name]! My name is [Name]. Until next time Pocohan" You yelled and then started to sprint. He smiled at your retreating figure. He now made it his mission to see you again. The best part was that he forgot about the proposal. He then walked back just thinking about you and you only.
