Genderbent! Maleficent from "Sleeping Beauty" Part Two

In the last chapter you were introduced to Maleficent and he was overall very nice to you. He even gifted you a necklace that you now hold dear to your heart. You watched at five years old how your parents abandoned you for your little sister Aurora. Then the next thing you knew, you were off with Maleficent. Now to continue with the story. 

It has been almost sixteen years since you left with Maleficent and you think that it was the best decision that was made for you. Maleficent made you feel like a human being instead of a waste of space. He made sure that he treated you well and his minion were taking a liking to you. You helped Maleficent through everything. Whether it was cooking him food or making sure there were no holes in his robes, you did it all. You were basically his caretaker and he was more than welcoming with it. He generally cared for you and you did him, despite the feelings that started to grow when you turned fifteen. You are now a young twenty one year old and you still have these feelings. You didn't know how it started. Maybe it was because he made you feel like a human being or he made you feel safe. But at the end of the day you fell in love with him and made sure that he noticed you. But he never did. Well until now. 

You were in your room combing your long [hair color] hair until you heard shouting and things being thrown around. You put the brush down and came out of your room to see Maleficent's minions scattering from the throne room. Some of them went to you and held onto your skirts like scared children. You calmed them down and made your way to the throne room. You dodged fireballs that were coming your way and you didn't mind it. It was something that you were used to because you were used to his temper. You knew what he was angry about. It was your sister. After he placed that curse on her and took you, he's been searching her for years. Your "father" was smart and hid her from him but Maleficent was determined.  After almost sixteen years he was close and you felt it. You looked in the throne room to see it completely trashed. Maleficent was seated on his throne with his fingers to his temple. 

"You know I just cleaned this room and now I have to clean it again" You announced as you walked in the room. He looked up and had a small smile on his face. 

"I'm sorry my dear. I'm just tired of these minions. I make them search for your sister and they find nothing. We're close to finding her and they are not helping me one bit.  I've been searching for years and the minute that I find something close, these minions always mess it up. It's pointless to continue" he sighs. Even when he was mad he still called you pet names. However it made your heart break a little because you made it your soul mission to make sure that he gets whatever he wanted. 

"Maybe I could help Maleficent. You know I'm good at finding stuff . I mean how else did you get the things that you needed from the Enchanted Forest?" You suggest. He looked up at you with wide eyes. 

"My dear, sweet [Name], you would really do this?"

You walked up to Maleficent and gave him a hug, with your head resting against his chest. It always gave him comfort and you were more than happy to provide it.

"Of course Maleficent. I would follow you to the end of my days. Besides you took me in when I was young and made me a better person since then. It is the least that I can do" you said and inhaled his scent. He smiled like sandalwood and roses despite his dark nature.

"I swear you are the only thing that makes me sane around here dear. But you don't have to do this. I can find another way. Maybe the minions would be better next time" he said as he held you tight. 

"Well I'm not gonna stand by while you suffer from your misfortune. At least let me help. Please think of it Maleficent" 

"I will dear. I promise" he sighed in content. You two stayed in a hug while his minions watched in fear of what will happen to them. You looked up to see a few at the entrance way and you pulled away from the hug.

"You know you have to at least apologize to them Maleficent. They're scared of you. Come out guys it's okay. I calmed him down" you said and Maleficent huffed in disbelief. 

"You act like they are your children. And of course they should fear me I'm their leader" Maleficent grunted. You looked at him and laughed. 

"I take care of them as well as you. And I also treat them with  respect. They respect me in return. Maleficent I know you want to express your authority but it won't work if they constantly fear you. You're forcing them to respect you as you give none to them. It happens both ways my dear" you said. the minions came up to you and held your skirt for protection while they looked at Maleficent. You both stare at each other while you pet one of the minion's head. He then sighed and looked at his minions which are by now all in the room. 

"If that is what you desire my dear. I do deeply apologize for my recent behavior. It was very wrong of me and I regret my actions. Please find it in your hearts to forgive me" Maleficent apologizes which makes you smile. He is one tough cookie to crack but in the end he will always have a soft spot for you. The minions all nodded and went to Maleficent to hug him. You laughed as they all piled on him before you jumped in yourself. 

"You can all get off of me now. No more hugging" he commanded and with grunts and boos they got off of him. He then got up and wrapped his arms around you. 

"My dear [Name] what would I do without you?" he asked. 

You put a finger to your chin and spoke. "You would probably not survive. Especially when it comes to eating. Speaking of which I have to go make dinner. I'll tell you when it's ready. And by the way you're cleaning this mess up. Minions could you please get some flowers from the forest? Thank you" you said and then kissed Maleficent's cheek. He watched you walk away with a smile on his face and started cleaning when everyone left the room. He was never soft-hearted. But when it came to you, he felt like he had no choice. 

"[Name] my dear you are one of a kind" he mumbles as he is cleaning. Then a couple of hours went by and everyone was eating. But you and Maleficent always ate together. As you both ate you decided to pop the question. 

"Maleficent have you thought of me helping you? I feel like I would help" you asked. He looked up from his plate.

"I have" 

"And what is the decision? I really want to help" 

"I would have to say no. I'm not putting you in harms way. You're better off here in the castle." he said and you sat there in disbelief. 

"Now that is a load of crap" you announced. He looked at you shocked. 

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me Maleficent. I know the forest from the back of my hand. I travel throughout it practically every day and I always have a weapon on me. Besides you say that Aurora looks similar to me so why not?"

He sighs in frustration. "Must we have this conversation now?" he asked.

"Yes! You need help and I'm offering it so why can't you accept it. My only goal is to make you happy and if finding my sister is the way to do it then dammit I'm going to do it. I will risk everything for you Maleficent" you yelled. He then got up and made his way towards you. He then got down to your level and looked at you straight in the eyes. 

"Is this what you truly ask of me my dear? What if something happens and I can't be there to help you?" he asks. 

"I am more than capable to take care of myself. And I'll be extra careful I promise. Just please give me a chance" you plead. He sighs and has an internal battle with himself. After a while of deafening silence, he finally spoke.

"Fine. You may help me. But if something happens then you are staying here and you are not allowed out of my sight ever again. Do we have a deal [Name]?" he says. You nod your head vigorously and he chuckles a little before kissing your forehead. A blush fills your cheeks as he makes his way back to his seat. After that you both ate and then went to bed. You couldn't wait to help Maleficent. Hopefully he would understand your love and affection in due time.

Sorry that i haven't updated since July. It was last minute but I decided to take a little hiatus to make sure that I can take care of myself, especially financially. But I'm back now and I want to make sure that I can handle working and making more of these stories. I hope that you understand. Thank you lovelies.
