Chapter 1: How it all began

Narrator's POV:
Welcome to the Dragon Realm, we begin our story at the Dragon Temple at the city of Dia-Mona where a dragon has plotted to take the dragon eggs with him to the Shattered Mountains of Arc-kana so that he can train them to be his army of darkness. But this dragon had not planned to take on the guardians of the eggs but he had no other option but to use his dark powers to travel through the shadows unnoticed.

Galventer's POV:
"I have finally come up with a plan to destroy these pathetic guardians and take control of the Dragon Realm." I said to myself as I continued the final layout of my master plan to steal the dragon eggs and take them to the Shattered Mountains of Arc-kana where I will train them to be my army of darkness and me as their Dark Dragon Lord. As the other guardians went to their quarters to retire for the night only three of the guardians remained at the dragon egg chamber to guard them. I carefully walked towards the dragon egg chamber and made sure I was not seen. "Valor do you know how long until the next shift change is? This is one of the most boring jobs I've gotten after becoming a guardian." said Jax, "We've only been here for ten minutes Jax, and your already complaining. Just focus on your job and keep those unhatched dragon eggs safe. And also, the next shift isn't until eleven tonight." said Valor. As both Jax and Valor kept their post to protect the unhatched dragon eggs I was surprised that the newest guardian was given the dragon egg chamber protection job. 'This may work to my advantage.' I thought to myself as I returned to the corridor that I was walking in so that I can use my dark powers to cast a spell so that I can travel among the shadows without being noticed.

Dagor's POV:
I was in my bed chamber mediating when I got a glimpse of what was going on in the Dragon Temple, Galventer using dark forbidden magic and stealing the dragon eggs from the dragon egg chamber and training the new dragons to only be loyal to him as the Dark Dragon Lord. "Galventer, what have you done brother?" I asked myself as I sounded the alarm system to warn the other guardians of the immediate threat to the eggs. "All guardians report to the dragon egg chamber immediately, Galventer has betrayed us and is planning to steal the eggs. And be warned, he is using dark forbidden magic. This is not a drill, I repeat this is not a drill." I said through the announcement system. I rushed over to the egg chamber to find Jax and Valor ready to take Galventer to prison. "Be on your guard my friends. My brother is not to be trifled with now that he has mastered the dark forbidden spells." I told them, "Yes, sir." they said together. I opened the door and Galventer saw me and smiled, "So you've learned about my plan. Good for you brother." my brother said sarcastically. "You won't escape with all of those eggs Galventer, and you know that even with your dark powers you won't be able to take all of the eggs with you." I said. "Your right of course, but I already have enough eggs to train into my loyal army of darkness. Especially your mates egg." said Galventer as he pulled out my mates egg and I was filled with anger and betrayal from my own brother. "Don't worry I'll make sure that your daughter is a great evil general in my army of darkness." said Galventer and before I could grab him, Galventer laughed and used another one of his dark spells and teleport-ed away along with two hundred dragon eggs, including my daughter, Cynder. The eggs that were left had no clue what awaits them when they hatch and become guardians to protect our realm from my brother who has taken two hundred dragon eggs to be raised as his loyal army of darkness. Then our leader, Singe the Legend, came into the egg chamber to inspect the disarray of the betrayal that my brother Galventer has left.

Singe the Legend's POV:
"Dagor, what has happened in here?" I asked, "Singe, I'm afraid that my brother has betrayed us. He has taken two hundred of our eggs, including my daughter Cynder. I'm sorry that I was unable to stop him my lord." said Dagor as I looked around and I saw my mates egg that has my son inside was left untouched, "Perhaps, one day my son will find your daughter, old friend. And I believe he is about to hatch right now." I said as all eyes turned to my mates egg and it started to crack and before long my son came into the world. "His scales are purple, and he has very strong orange as well. I'll call him Spyro." I said as my son opened his eyes and saw me. "Dagor, I want you to take my son under your tutelage so that one day he will be a great guardian. And maybe he will be able to find your daughter, Cynder." I said, "As you wish my lord." said Dagor as he looked at my son and gave a small smile. 'Dagor should help my son become a great guardian. And one day Spyro will find Dagor's daughter and return her to the temple.' I thought to myself.
