Narrator's POV:
Welcome back to the adventure, now after Dagor took Spyro to the hall of dragon history the vile Galventer returned to the Shattered Mountains of Arc-kana to plan his next move now that Singe's son Spyro has now become a guardian. But, while Galventer was away Cynder has been trying to piece together her past. At first she believed that Galventer was her father but these days she has realized that Galventer wasn't her real father. Unknowing what the future holds for her we find Cynder at the castle in the library searching for anything that could help her find out who her father is. Now enter through your minds portal and follow the path that Cynder wants to follow but is forced down a different path.

Cynder's POV:
After Galventer left I went to the library to find anything that could tell me about who my real father, but everything was about how to interrogate, torture, and fight an enemy. 'There has to be something about who my real father is.' I thought to myself as I continued searching for any book that might help me know who my father is. But as it turned out there was only one book about any of that information and Galventer keeps it locked up in his private chambers. So I took some books that I could carry and returned to my bed chamber and started going through each one learning about the ancient dragons that came before me and all the other dragons. I let out a soft sigh and looked at the full moon that shined through a cloudless night. "I wish I wasn't being trained for what Galventer has planned, I wish I was at the dragon temple training to become a guardian of our world. That's my real dream." I said to myself as the moon passed through the dark form of the mountains that the castle was hidden in. I returned to my bed and took out my map of the Dragon Realm that I've been studying for almost thirteen years trying to figure out how to escape this shit hole of a castle. While I was studying my map of the Dragon Realm the castle's silent bells sounded to tell everyone that Galventer has returned from his trip and to prepare for training at one. I sighed and folded up my map and returned it to its hiding place and got my act together so Galventer won't suspect anything. But its easy said then done since I've almost got caught every time and I don't want to find out what Galventer will do to me if he learns that I'm trying to escape.

Galventer's POV:
As I entered my castle I was welcomed by my future loyal army and they all bowed down before me as I have taught them to do when I enter any room of my dark castle in the Shattered Mountains of Arc-kana. "All hail Lord Galventer, future ruler of the Dragon Realm!" they all shouted in unison and I smiled at the thought of actually becoming the rightful ruler of the Dragon Realm. Then I noticed Cynder was only bowing down in my presence and staying quiet for some reason, 'She's hiding something from me. I can feel it, she has been like this ever since I told her that I wasn't her real father, even though we are related by blood I am actually her uncle.' I thought to myself as I glared at my niece which she knew that I wanted to speak with her later on. "My loyal students, the new guardians have taken their place with the other guardians and very soon all of you will become a force to be reckoned with. No one will dare stand against us once the Dragon Temple is under my control. Now, return to your training and be ready at a moments notice to be summoned by me to become apart of my army." I said as all of my loyal students cheered for me except for my niece Cynder.

Time Skip
Cynder's POV:
After that whole thing I went to Galventer's study and waited for him to call me inside, 'I don't like this one bit. I wish I could talk to my Skybook friend Neon Oryps. But if Galventer finds out about that he'll stop at nothing to find out who he is and get rid of him.' I thought to myself. Then after what felt like eternity Galventer called me into his study, as I entered his study I saw that Galventer wasn't happy, in fact he's never happy, but he seems to be in an even more bitter mood than before. "You wanted to see me, sir?" I asked trying my best to make it sound like I had a cold, "What's wrong with your voice? No matter, we'll get to that later. Do you know why I summoned you here Cynder?" asked Galventer, I swallowed my fear or as much of it as I could, "Yes, sir. You summoned me because I wasn't cheering with the other students." I said with every bit of forced effort I could muster. "That's correct, now tell me why that is." he said, "Well, it's because I have a bad cold sir and I didn't want to strain my voice anymore than I have too." I said as I tried my best to sound convincing to my uncle. "Is that so, well then I guess that's to be expected at your age my niece. Also, there is one other reason why I have summoned you here, there is a certain dragon who has graduated from the guardian academy who is a major threat to my plans to become the true ruler of our realm. This dragon has purple and orange scales and crimson eyes, he's called Spyro. And he is the son of my most hated enemy but since he passed away thirteen years ago Spyro has been taken cared by the other guardians as if he were their own offspring. Tomorrow you will be appointed as a solo mission taker. All of your assignments will come from me." said Galventer as he walked around the room trying to see if I would give off anything that would make him feel like I was a traitor to his cause. After a while, Galventer stood in front of me and I had to look up at him since he was much taller that I was, "Now return to your chamber and rest. You have a big day tomorrow my dear." said Galventer, "As you wish uncle." I said with every bit of convincing sincerity I could manage and I exited his study and returned to my room and closed and locked my door so that I wouldn't get interrupted while I went on my Skybook page and talked with my friend Neon Oryps.
