Chapter 5: Dark Cynder Arrives

Narrator's POV:
Welcome back young adventurers, now last time our heroine Cynder was under watch by Dark As-per under Galventer's orders. And now Dark As-per has found Cynder's map of her escape routes to flee to the city of Dia-Mound. Dark As-per took the map to Galventer and since he was watching Cynder, he saw, while not being seen by Cynder with his shadow magic, that Cynder was talking to someone named Neon Oryps. Now Galventer is sure that his niece has never truly been focused on her training as a dark villain for his future empire. Now enter the portal once again and find out what Galventer has in store for his niece Cynder.

Dark As-per's POV:
After I grabbed the map that Cynder had hidden in her room I rushed over to Galventer's study to inform him of my discovery about his niece. "My lord, I have evidence that Cynder is planning on leaving the Shattered Mountains of Arc-kana and travel to the city of Dia-Mound to enroll in the Dragon Guardian Academy." I said as I bowed down in my masters presence and handed him the map that I found in Cynder's chambers and my lord took the map from my paws and looked at it for a few minutes. "I was right not to fully trust my niece. You have done well my loyal follower." said Galventer as he got up and went over to his book of dark spells to find a dark take over spell to cast on Cynder. "Dark As-per, I want you to keep my niece distracted long enough until I ask you to bring her here. And if she is to refuse, do whatever you have to and bring her before me so that I may make her become evil. Whether she likes it or not." said Galventer, "As you command, my lord." I said as I left his study and went to find Cynder and play 'nice' until my lord Galventer summons me and Cynder so that he can force Cynder to be evil.

Cynder's POV:
I was listening to my music that Neon sent me when I saw Dark As-per walk over to me and I thought that he was only coming by to make fun of me as usual but instead he did something completely unexpected. "Hey, Cynder I've been looking everywhere for you." he said, "What do you want this time As-per?" I asked with utter disgust in my voice, "I wanted to ask if you wanted to hang out for a while. And maybe catch a movie or something." he said. Did I just hear him say that or was he just acting nice to me since I'm the niece of Galventer, but it wasn't like I had anything better to do today so I just played along. "Okay, why are you being nice to me all of a sudden?" I asked, "I finally realized that what I do to you isn't nice since we are both loyal to your uncle Galventer our leader and lord. So I thought that we could just hang out and get to know each other a little bit." said Dark As-per as if every word he said was like acid on his forked tongue. "Is that so? Well, alright I was planning on just looking at the history of Arc-kana for a few hours but okay." I said as I placed my phone in my bag and stood next to Dark As-per, and just so we're clear I felt like throwing up because I don't like Dark As-per at all. "Wait um, on second thought never get away from me!" shouted Dark As-per as he ran away and disappeared into the shadows. "Now that's better and that was awesome ha ha. I really needed that." I laughed and headed back to my bed chamber to read about the history of Arc-kana so that I can find out about the secret passages and hidden stairs that could help me escape from this hell hole.

Time Skip
Galventer's POV:
As I continued to look through my book of forbidden dark magic to find a darkness take over spell to cast on my ungrateful niece I finally found the right spell to do just that. "The darkness take over dark spell. Chant the incantation at your desired victim and their light will be locked away and dark shackles will appear around their neck, front paws, back paws, and their tail. Now this is a spell that will surely make my ungrateful excuse of a niece into a obedient servant of evil." I said to myself as I read the incantation in my mind for the time being. I called Dark As-per into my study later on, "You called me my lord." he said with respect, "Go bring Cynder to me. I have found the dark take over spell that will turn Cynder into Dark Cynder." I said, "As you wish my lord." said Dark As-per as he dissolved in a spiral of mist and went to get my niece and bring her here by force.

Cynder's POV:
As I was reading my book about the ancient history of Arc-kana when suddenly everything went dark and I didn't know what was going on. "Wh-who's there?" I asked with a bit of worry in my voice then something struck me on my head and I fell over and everything went hazy before I finally blacked-out.

Dark As-per's POV:
"That was easier than I thought it was going to be." I said as I grabbed Cynder and dragged her to her uncle's study. "My lord I've brought Cynder as you requested." I said as I tossed Cynder in front of her uncle just as she was waking up, "Well done Dark As-per. You have made me very proud." said Galventer as he brought his book of forbidden dark magic with him over to Cynder. "U-uncle, wh-what are you doing?" Cynder asked as she shook her head with confusion, "You can't hide the truth from me anymore, traitor. I know about your escape plans thanks to my spy, Dark As-per." said Galventer. "A-As-per, wh-what have you done?" Cynder asked me with tears in her eyes which I find quite entertaining, "You don't get it do you Lynder, I am loyal to the cause and to your uncle. As will you soon will be." I said with a villainous laugh and I left to let lord Galventer to cast his spell.

Galventer's POV:
"Now Cynder you will be an agent of evil for now on." I said as I made sure that Cynder couldn't get out of my study by casting a dark spell on my study so that she could not escape until after the darkness take over spell has been cast in her. "Uncle Galventer please don't do this to me." my niece begged me as she started to cry which only made me smile as she cried more and more. "Now then, it is time to cast the darkness take over spell." I said as I opened the book to the page that had the spell for me to cast upon my niece. "Take away this one's light and fill them with complete and utter darkness, and make this one completely loyal to me and fill them with evil intent!" I chanted as a dark mist surrounded Cynder and she screamed in fear as she became evil and the shackles of darkness appeared on her neck, paws and tail and her transformation into Dark Cynder was almost complete and her scales started changing from dark purple to a blackis purple color. "Uncle, please stop this." my niece begged me as the transformation finished turning my niece into Dark Cynder and she kneeled down before me, "What is your command, Uncle Galventer?" Dark Cynder asked me with a new respect towards me. "You shall have your assignment soon enough my dear evil niece. And do you have any intention of leaving this castel and join the dragon guardian academy?" I asked. "No, I want to see that sorry excuse for a hell hole destroyed and burnt to the ground." said Dark Cynder, "Very good, dear niece. Now go and train with Dark As-per until I have a mission fr you which I'm sure will be soon my dear niece." I said. "As you wish uncle." said Dark Cynder and she left the study and went to find Dark As-per. "Now that my niece has been stripped of her light, only the darkness remains in her and she will only listen to my commands." I said and let out a evil laugh and cackle as my plan will finally be achieved in no time at all.

Narrator's POV:
Oh my, what has Galventer done to Cynder. Well like the title said 'Dark Cynder Arrives' but still I never would have imagined Cynder being turned evil like that. Anyway, what kind of plan does Galventer have in store for Dark Cynder? What mission isGalventer going to send Dark Cynder on?
