Chapter 15- In Case

I made sure to get snacks ready along with coffee, just for in case things got to out of hand especially since the picture was up on the wall, and right now that seemed to be the biggest talk of the family.

When James and his aunt walked in I went to greet them and to Dallas' delight he kissed me as a greeting as soon as he walked in, and it was on the lips, which sucked even more with my 'family' there, but oh well, I better get used to it.

We all sat down in the living room. Matilda noticed the picture was up and said, "Mine is up too, right on the wall when you would walk in, just like yours."

Dallas and Maddie started asking James all kinds of questions, like how long had we been dating and if I was a good girlfriend.

"Well," started James. "She is when she is not unconscious."

Right after he said that I slapped him lightly over the head, receiving many chuckles from the rest of them. I grabbed his hand and dragged him to the kitchen, getting many more chuckles. I mumbled something about getting coffee for those who wanted.

"You suck!" I said quietly.

"Why?" he asked me. I just gave him a look. "Well sorry, but it's true, you're the perfect girlfriend, but it is hard for you to be when you don't even know I am around."

"It's okay, just please try not to embarrass me like that again."

"I won't, I promise." James said to me and kissed me.

We brought the coffee to everyone and then went outside for some time alone. I knew that all of the adults were looking at us, with his arm on my waist and my head resting on his shoulders.

When we got outside, we sat down and started talking about school. We ended up mostly laying on the ground and looking at the stars. Everyone else decided to join us in silence, respecting our space. When Matilda and James had to go, he kissed me goodbye and left silently while I started to cuddle with Demi.

"Love you mom." I said to Demi and fell asleep.
