Chap 11

"You can't avoid him forever."

"Shush,Holly."

I sighed,leaning back in my chair.

Suzy,Holly and I we're currently out for lunch. I hadn't really talked to anyone for two weeks since my realization about Dan. They finally forced me out of my house. Of course,Arin told Suzy about the situation so I had to tell Holly as well.

"It's not like I want to avoid him. I miss him. But...it's just,I don't know know what to do."

"It's just Dan, Ellie. Everything will be fine. It's not like you have to tell him about your feelings."

"I know,but I don't know if things will be the same now."

"You won't know until you hang out with him again. He's been kinda down about it actually." Suzy inputted.

I sighed once more.

"Okay,okay. I'll go see him. You guys are going back to the office after this right?"

"Yeah. Do you want to go with us?"

"Yeah,I feel bad about avoiding Arin as well."

The point of conversation turned to something else that I didnt pay much attention to as I thought of seeing Danny for the time since I ran out of the Cool Patrol video shoot. I tried eating slower than usual to buy time. It didn't work that well and before I knew it we were already parked in the lot to the office.

I hadn't said much before we got into the elevator.

"Hey,just act normal. It will be fine." Holly smiled, squeezing my hand.

Suzy did the same,offering a supportive smile before the elevator stopped.

"Eleanor Rose Allen,I swear to fuck if you ignore me for two weeks ago,I will fucking stab you!"

That was the first thing I heard after walking in the door. Arin stormed over before crossing his arms and jutting out his hip.

"I'm sorry,I just..."

He shook his head before hugging me.

"I know,you don't have to explain. I'm not really mad."

"I know."

He pulled away before walking to the kitchen with Suzy. Holly gave me an encouraging smile before skipping off to find her husband.

I sighed,falling onto one of the massive bean bags in the office. I sat with my hand over my face to block out the light so I didn't see him before it was too late.

My scream had everyone running into the room,only for them to laugh at the sight of Danny laying on me.

"Danny,you crushing me."

"Don't care. I've missed the fuck outta you."

"I'm sorry. I missed you too. I've been busy with stuff." I said,trying not to think of him being so close.

"What have been doing for two weeks that you barely even texted me?" He asked,adjusting to lay on his side facing me.

"Stuff. I've been toying with the idea of opening a bakery here." I replied,mirroring him.

"That's a great idea."

"Its just....I don't know if I could do that without my mom." I muttered.

"Either way,it's a nice idea." He smiled.

I smiled back before laying my head on his chest. We sat talking for another hour or so before they had to get back to recording.

"It's probably gonna be a late night session,so I'll see you tomorrow." Dan said,hugging me.

"Okay,see ya."

The night dragged on from there,Suzy dropping me off shortly after. Dan and I texted on and off between episodes,just catching up. It had been almost an hour before I felt my phone again.

Arin- fucking tell him already. He won't shut up about you. It's adorable.

Me-shush. I'll tell him soon.

Arin- don't know why you're afraid too. He totes likes you.

Me- don't you have a job to be doing?

Arin- nah,we just got done.

Me- oh,well. Be safe getting home. <3

Arin- I will <3

I smiled at my phone before laying down to sleep. My buzzed once again so I rolled over to check it.

Danny- you awake?

Me-yeah,just laid down

Danny- oh ok. Just wanted to see if you wanted to hang. But don't worry about it.

I bit my lips debating on what to say.

Me- get over here
