Chap 15

Three days flew by. I barely had a chance to sit down and relax. Arin and I,as well as Holly and most of the other grumps had been running around planning things. I didn't think it was the best plan,but I had to admit,I thought it would at least be a little bit of fun.

I had just arrived at the Grump space,slowing poking my head in. Suzy waved me in after looking around.

"Everything should be in place. First one is here,then his house,my house,your house then the coffee shop then the restaurant."

"Good. Arin said he'd be following Dan today to update you so you would know when to be there. Did you think about what to say?"

"Already got it down. I have to go before he see me. I'll see you later,right?"

"If not me,you'll see Holly at least. One of us will bring you a dress and shoes."

"Thanks. I owe you guys. I know this all last minute."

"Just go before he knows you're here." She smiled pushing me to the door.

I left as quietly as I came,moving Faster once I heard Dan.

3rd POV

"Was that Ellie?"

"Yeah she just came to drop something off. She said she was super busy today and couldn't stay." Suzy answered smiling still.

Dan frowned. He hadn't seen Ellie since the other day when he ran into her. It had been three days so he thought she would talk to him about whatever it was.

He shrugged walking to the kitchen area only to see an envelope with his name on it.

Danny,

As promised it's been three days. I'm still trying to figure out the right words to say but if you follow this letter,you'll have your answers by the end of the day. Have fun.

P.S.  I think there's something waiting at you place for you.

Dan smiled,rushing to grab his stuff so he could get home.

"Where you off to,Dan?" Arin smirked.

"I'm sure you already know."

"Yup. I'm coming with."

"You're a asshole. Let's go."

The two laughed before heading out and over to Dan's house. As promised,another letter was waiting for Dan.

Yay,you found it! But there's still some more left. But before that,I wanted to show you something. You've have to come to my house to see it.

And like that they took off for Ellie's house. The ride was quiet,Dan thinking about what she would want to tell him. Arin sat grinning taping on his phone. As promised,he was updating Ellie.

Once they arrived at her house,her car wasnt in the drive. Danny shrugged before heading to the door. Another note.

Are you having fun? I hope so. You're so close,I promise. The next one might take a bit. Why don't you go to Arin's and wait?

"God damnit." He muttered going back to the car where Arin was waiting.

"I fucking hate you all."

Arin laughed as Danny started driving once more to Arin's house. Once they got there,Suzy greeted them inside.

"Hey,guys."

"I hate you." Danny muttered, dropping to the couch."How much longer?"

"Not long now. It's only six. By the way,this was here for you." Suzy said grabbing a letter with a grin.

Danny jumped up to read it.

I'm sorry,Dan. You're probably getting grumpy by now. I know a pretty great place to get some coffee. Oh wait...so do you.

"This better be worth it."

"Trust us it will be." Suzy smiled once more before Danny took off once again to the coffee shop that he had ran into Ellie a few days ago.

Once he walked in he looked around before going to the counter.

"Oh hey,you must be Dan?"

"Yup,that's me."

"Cool. This is for you."

Danny thanked the girl before opening the letter up.

Almost ready. But before that,I need something that I left at your house. After that,meet me at the address.

God,this woman. Danny sighed but headed back home anyway. He wouldn't admit it at this point,but this was a little fun and definitely not something that any other girl would do.

Finally back at his house,he went inside to find Barry.

"Hey,there's a box in your room for you." He smiled, already knowing.

Danny all but ran into his room and opened the box. He quickly changed into the black jeans and blue fannel shirt that sat in the box before sliding his shoes back on as well as his black leather jacket.

"Have fun!" Barry called as Danny raced out the door.
