I slowly woke to the feeling of someone's arm wrapped around me, and the other playing with my hair. I fluttered my eyes open to see Draco staring at me, "well this is awkward," I joked, while turning over. He huffed, pulling me closer, "no, it's not. It's amazing to wake up next to you, I can't wake to do this more often." I closed my eyes, "when do you think the actual wedding will be? We have always been told we were getting married, but never told when." Draco hummed, "I dunno, they never actually said. I always assumed it would be after we were finished with school; but honestly I would rather it be sooner." I sat up, "but wouldn't it be awkward? Being in school married, and in different houses as well. Your fellow Slytherins would look at you differently." He pulled me back down, "I don't care, and the same goes for you." I laughed, "honestly most of them are 'sympathetic', the only ones that will really treat me differently will be the Weasleys. I hope Ginny doesn't, she said she wouldn't but she's my best friend, I can't help but worry. But on another note, we should get up, I don't know how she would react to us being in bed together, naked."
We both got up, Draco threw his clothes on, while I just walked into the bathroom to take a shower. All I can do is worry, Draco's parents will be here for dinner. I'll most likely spend the rest of my day picking out my clothes and doing my hair and makeup. I couldn't help but be nervous, they always intimidated me, a little bit. The only thing I really have to look forward to is the fact that tomorrow Ginny will be visiting. Unfortunately, she doesn't know that Draco is staying here though break. After everything with her brother, I pray that this won't ruin our friendship.
I jumped, when I heard a knock on the door, "Y/n?" my mom called. "Yes, ma'am?" Since this is your vacation, I let you sleep in, but I really want to spend time with you, so hurry downstairs, for bunch." I sighed, "alright, I'm getting out now."
I walked into the dinning room to see that my mom and Draco are already at the table, talking. I mom stood up and hugged me, "finally, my beautiful daughter, is gracing us with her ever so late presents." I huffed, "mom, I didn't know that we were having brunch." We all sat down and started eating. My mom cleared her throat, "by the way, it seems that Draco's parents have invited some other guests to come tonight, so be sure to look your best!" I looked at Draco confused, only to see him mouth the words, "your best is naked." I coughed, "may I ask who these guests are going to be?" I mom thought for a moment, "I think the letter said it was going to be Astoria Greengrass and her brother, I forget his name..." (I'm pretty sure she doesn't have a brother, but lets pretend for the story's sake)
"Liam..." Draco whispered. My mom smiled, "yes, that's it. You know, your father and my plan was always for you to marry Draco, but incase that didn't fan out, Liam was our second choice." I choked on my food, while Draco had an indescribable look on his face. "Mom, I don't think that was appropriate to say in front of Draco," I scolded. She laughed, "you're right. I apologize."
After brunch, Draco and I walked up to my room, him not saying a word until we got to my room. "Draco, why are you so quiet? I know what my mom said was in poor fashion, but it should bother you too much," I looked at him, worried. He walked to the window not looking at me and not saying a word. I sighed, and flopped on my bed, frowning, "that's not fair, you have to talk to me." He keeps looking out the window, but spoke, "It's not just him, I've had run ins with his sister too. Well, what I'm trying to say, is most of the snogging I did before us, was her. I don't want you to feel some type of way." I stood up and walked to my bedroom door, "don't kid yourself, the only reason you would act like this, is because of your own feelings." With that I ran to the garden, hoping since he was facing the window, he won't have a clue where to find me.
