The next day at breakfast, I couldn't bring myself to eat. My thoughts all revolved around George; have I already grow so attached to him, that I will refuse Draco? I was suddenly brought out of my thoughts, by the calling of my name. "Y/n, I've been trying to get your attention. How did umm, your talk with HIM go last night," George asked, while playing with my hair. I shivered as he tugged on a certain strand. "Don't do that right now. And it went horrible, with him trying to boss me, and me telling him off. I'm so dreading potions with him, you don't even know," I muttered. George sighed, "I'm sorry, Love. But remind me later when we are alone to tug on your hair some more," he winked.
I blushed, while poking at my food, "George, don't embarrass me! Besides, I thought THAT wasn't what you wanted from me," I frowned. He lifted my chin up, so my eyes would meet his, "It's not, you know I love you. But I can't help it, if I really enjoy snogging you as well, Sweets." I blushed even more at his words. "You l... l... love me? You have never said that before," I stuttered out. He laughed, "Not to you at least, Fred is getting tired of hearing me talk about loving you," he blushed. I got super nervous, "I... umm, need to get to potions, or I'm going to be late. See you at lunch," I rushed to get out of the Great Hall.
I should have said, 'I love you too', because Godric knows I do, but froze up like an idiot. He probably hates me now. I hope by lunch time I can 'Women up.'
I slowly made my way into the dungeons, and then into Snape's class. Surprisingly, even though I'm in Gryffindor, he isn't mean to me, because of my parents. So he didn't say anything about me being early. I quickly pulled out my sketch pad and started drawing. My drawing came to an end, by Draco's voice. "Class has started, lucky for you, Snape never says anything to you. And before you start with the, 'go sit with a Slytherin.' Snape partnered us up," he smiled, as if last night never happened. I groaned, "Snape hates me."
Draco rolled his eyes, "oh you'll love it, not only do you get to be close with me in potions, but we have to get together in the library as classes, to work on our project. What should it be about," he asked. I huffed, "fine, but only because I have to. We will meet at seven after classes, not on the weekends. And we will be doing the project on, 'The long term effects, of polyjuice potion.' Got it, good. Now look in your book for any details about it, and don't talk. I have enough on my mind, without you bothering me," I stated.
