Jimin placed yet another record on the pile of discs that were labeled 'jazz' before picking them up and carrying them over to their designated rack. He placed them down gently on the shelf, carefully arranging each vinyl alphabetically though he was well aware that any customer that would enter the store would probably disorganize them without second thought.
The pink-haired sighed, returning to the countless boxes that were sitting in the back room, impatiently waiting to be opened. He grabbed a pair of rusted scissors, carefully making an incision through the top of another fairly big container before opening it and placing the discs on the ground.
Park began shuffling through them, segregating them by genre when he heard the front door opening. With a discrete roll of his hazel eyes, he got up and dusted his knees off, walking over to the customer. "We're clo—" He cut himself off the second he recognized the malicious face waiting by the counter, inspecting the countless posters lining the walls with curious eyes.
"What do you want?" Jimin spat, clenching his fists to keep himself from decking the man right in the face. Jackson turned around with a smug look on his face, crossing his arms as he leaned against the clean worktop that the younger had just spent half an hour waxing.
"That's not a very nice way to talk to a customer, I'm going to have to file a complaint." The dark-haired antagonist said calmly, his voice dripping with ill intent. The smaller only narrowed his eyes, boring them into the older's threatening silhouette.
"I asked what you wanted and I'm not going to ask again." Park's voice raised a few decibels, his tone making it crystal clear that he wasn't messing around. The other man didn't seem too worried, though. He strode towards the boy confidently, the pink-haired standing his ground with a hateful glint present in his mahogany irises.
"Oh, loosen up will you." Jackson leaned in, nose to nose with the smaller who was returning the older's deceitful glare with twice as much vigor. "Learn to have fun."
"I'll learn to have fun when you learn to stop sabotaging my relationship and grow the fuck up. Stop being a salty little bitch just because I'm happier with Yoongi than I've ever been with you. I suggest you leave me the hell alone or the next time we meet each other will be in court over a restraining order." Jimin spat, the harshness of his voice surprising both boys equally, though the younger didn't regret a single word that slipped through his lips.
"Since when have you learned to stand up for yourself? I respect that, Park Jimin." Jackson looked genuinely impressed, his busted lip twisting into a carefree smirk.
"Too bad your respect isn't worth shit." The younger smiled sweetly, turning around on his heel. "I strongly recommend this being our last encounter. Don't provoke me. Don't provoke Yoongi. I don't think the people issuing those scholarships you've got going would like knowing that they have a rapist on their hands, would they?"
"I wouldn't dream of provoking your precious little boyfriend. He's dead to me, though I guess that doesn't mean anything if he's dead to everyone else, does it?" The chestnut-haired mimicked the younger's hostile tone, his words bouncing off of the shield the boy had put up the second he opened his mouth.
Though Jimin was confused, he brushed it off and concealed his emotions well beneath a mask of sheer anger. He turned around once more, giving Jackson more attention than the older deserved to begin with. "I'm warning you. Stay away."
"I don't have a thing for corpses anyway." With that the door slammed, the bubblegum-haired shaking his head dismissively though the words stuck.
...corpse?

"Yoonie, the fucker came by the store again today." Jimin deadpanned, putting the groceries he'd bought on his way home away into the fridge. He heard quick and heavy footsteps approaching, a worried mint-haired boy practically running into the kitchen to check on the younger.
"Did he hurt you?" Yoongi grabbed the boy's face, looking it over before breathing a sigh of relief as he noticed that the pink-haired was unscathed.
"He didn't. And he won't." The smaller said, his tone indicating that he was positive about his statement.
"How can you be so sure?" Yoongi inquired, gently caressing the smaller's rosy cheeks as he planted a warm kiss on his temple.
"Trust me." Jimin turned around, facing the older boy whilst wrapping his tender arms over his neck. "I'm worried about you though." Park stated with genuine apprehension in his tone.
"Why, I'm doing fi—."
"Yoongi, the pills, I saw you take some pills a while ago." The taller's eyes widened immediately as he nervously looked down at his feet before creating some distance between them. He stuttered before sighing and meeting the pink-haired's inquisitive eyes once more.
"I... I used to have bad nightmares. I mean so bad that we had to go to a therapist. My mother was killed in front of me when I was nine, I think. This... man hung her up on a tree and made me watch as he..." the boy trailed off, his eyes suddenly stinging as he spoke. His voice cracked, the smaller's palm impulsively traveling up to the other's cheeks in an attempt to wipe the mint-haired's tears.
"I'm sorry for asking, I shouldn't have said anything." Jimin pulled the taller into a comforting embrace, the older boy's arms instantly wrapping around his small form.
"It's okay, you didn't know. Besides, I would've told you even if you hadn't brought it up."
Jimin sadly smiled against the boy's pale skin as the taller confirmed his trust. The smaller was unbelievably joyous that his boyfriend could be honest with him.
"Yoongi... I'm really happy that you trust me enough to tell me. I was... never mind, actually. I was going to ask you something dumb, but I don't... I shouldn't. Maybe another time." Jimin felt guilty for bringing up the older's negative memories from the past, pulling away to go back to unpacking groceries in the kitchen.
"What were you going to ask?" The taller inquired, genuinely curious yet fearful.
"I— it's really not important. I'll just... google it."
