Jimin's pale eyelids fluttered open, the harsh sunlight temporarily blinding him. With a frown, he realized that he was lying on rocky ground, outdoors.

It took a moment for every detail of the night he'd spent with the taller to come back to him in its entirety, the warmth of Yoongi's masculine arms draped around him helping him recall.

The younger breathed easy, a sense of serenity accompanying the pleasant sunrise. Funny how the boy had never considered himself a morning person until that very moment.

There was just something so sanguine about the coruscating rays tinting the a sky a pulchritudinous shade of tangerine. A breezy smile graced the cappuccino-eyed's visage as he snuggled deeper into the taller's calm, sleeping figure.

So calm he could've drifted back into the peaceful slumber that he'd just awoken from.

Until a single word cross his mind; a word that could've ruined the most wondrous of moments.

And that word was school.

In no longer than mere seconds, the boy had hastily untangled himself from the older's limbs, the task proving itself to be more difficult than he had wished. All he wanted was to lay with the boy all day, lost in the picturesque alternate universe they'd built for themselves, but reality always has to drag you back down to earth at the worst times.

The younger straightened himself out, a sharp sting in his lower back. Jimin flinched, trying to get up before reluctantly sitting back down to recompose himself.

After a few inhales and a handful of heavy exhales, he stood up timidly, doing a few stretches in an attempt to loosen his muscles. A minute or two after his sloppy motions that would've looked like peculiar flailing to the outer eye, the pain had subsided.

Saying that Jimin hadn't ever particularly taken an interest in stretches would've been a strong understatement.

The bubblegum-haired winced at the prospect of leaving the older on the cliff alone, silently praying that the caramel-eyed wouldn't get too frustrated with him when he woke up.

Jimin quietly tiptoed to the trees, hoping not to disturb the sleeping boy. Just as he was about to reach the edge of the forest, he paused his movement, looking back and at the taller.

His brown orbs traced Yoongi's charming figure, the older boy breathing peacefully. Park truly thought that, despite the beautiful scenery that had graced his eyes earlier that day, there wasn't a view more gorgeous than the green-haired, sweatshirt clad male.

The pink-haired hesitated before slowly making his way back to the boy's dreaming silhouette, crouching down beside him.

At that moment, it seemed that he had all the time in the world to appreciate the paler's pulchritude. The, now much more pleasant, sunlight gave his skin an enthralling glow. The boy's plump lips were minimally ajar, his chest rising evenly.

Jimin found himself leaning in closer, eager to remember every detail engraved in Min's flawless skin.

Before his mind could register what he was doing, he found himself planting a light kiss on the older's forehead. Startled by his actions, Park pulled away. He was well aware that he'd been wanting to connect his lips with any and every crevice of the other's body, longing to show the boy exactly how much he cared, but why now?

What had pushed him to do so?

Jimin has a plethora of questions running through his head, already overthinking what he had done.

At least he couldn't have noticed. The younger thought in an attempt to calm himself down.

He was asleep.

Park cradled his head in his hands, letting his panic consume him. He decided that it would've been better if he pretended that the event hadn't happened and went to school.

Before he left, however, he caved and stole one final glance at the other's sleeping figure, the view that greeted his curious gaze shocking him immensely.

The previously neutral expression on the drowsy boy's face was gone and in it's place was a gummy, uncontrollable smile. Though Yoongi eyelids were shut, there was no way he was still dozing.

At that very moment, Jimin felt as though his pounding heart was going to hammer through the confines of his rib cage and jump out of his chest. The older's lips parted once more, his eyes fluttering open. The blush on Jimin's cheeks deepened the second two simple sentences slipped out of Min's mouth:

"That wasn't the way things were supposed to go. I wanted to be the first to kiss you."
