::Jacob's P.O.V::
"Jacob, where the hell are you?" Ray asked curiously, I pressed my phone to my ear as I laid in my bed. "I'm not coming today" I said, "oh, why not?" "I don't feel good". This was very true, I did not feel good at all, I was still shocked at the news that was just told to me yesterday and I was still trying to understand it all. "Well, I hope you feel better and I'll swing by if you have any homework that needs to be done" Ray explained, "okay, thanks, bye, Ray" "bye, Jacob".
I hung up the phone and set it on my nightstand, I took a deep breath and wondered why all of this had to happen to me. I had a lot of things to think about; should I tell Chresanto what my mother told me, should I talk to Lorenzo, I mean... My dad, and should Chresanto and I still be together? It was so much to handle and I had all these emotions built up inside of me.

I walked downstairs and looked around, I didn't feel like going to school today and I honestly didn't know if I was going to. I walked into the kitchen and literally jumped when I saw Trina cleaning the place. "Holy shit!" I cursed as I jumped a little, she looked at me "what, what is it!?" I took a deep breath, "sorry, you, uh, you scared me; I forgot you would check up on me". She turned away and continued to wipe down the kitchen, "wait, how'd you get in here?" I asked. "Your father gave me a key" "are you serious?" She nodded, "as a heart attack".
I stood there and couldn't believe I was about to ask her this, "do you know how to make bacon and toast?" She nodded a little, "mhm, would you like it if I made some?" "Yes, please". I walked back to my room and decided that I'd go to school, since I wasn't able to hangout with Jacob that much anymore, the only time I'd really get to see him was in school. I needed to talk to him.

It wasn't like my mom's. I stared down at the bacon and toast and sighed lightly. It's never like my mom's. I ate it anyway and when I was done, I stood up and grabbed my bag. "I'm gonna go now" I said to Trina, "thanks for the breakfast". I left out the house and kicked a rock down the street like I always did when I walked to school. I didn't like Trina being there, it felt like she was my step-mom or something, when in all actuality she was just a stranger who had a key to my house.
"Yo daddy ran, didn't he?" I looked up and saw Nicki, the woman who was over my house once when she was smoking and drinking with my dad. I ignored her and kept walking, I didn't wanna talk to her and I sure as hell wasn't going to answer her question unless I really had to. If anyone found out that my dad ran, then they'd have a chance to bother and flirt with me all they wanted, because without the safety of my dad, I was vulnerable and up for grabs.
I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder and I shook it off, "don't touch me" I said. "He did run, I knew he would" I rolled my eyes, "don't you have somewhere to be?" "Nope". "Well I do, so if you don't mind" "you still a virgin?" "That's none of your business, lady" I said, I turned and looked at her and she tried to touch me but I moved away. "You're stubborn, you know; just like your father" "you wouldn't be saying that if he were here" "I wouldn't?" "No, you wouldn't, 'cause you're just like all the other bitches here".

"You didn't go to school?" My mom asked as she walked into the house, I shook my head "no, I stayed home". "How come?" "I didn't wanna see Chresanto today" I answered as I sat down on the couch, she sat next to me. "You don't have to break up with him" she said quietly as she set down her bag. "I don't think I really want to" "okay" "I don't know if I should tell him or not" "I think you should, I think he should at least know that he has a half-brother". "What if he doesn't want to be with me anymore? You know, after I tell him everything".
"It'll work out" my mom said, she patted my leg and said "it really will". I closed my eyes and rested my head on her shoulder, "I took his virginity" I whispered. "What?" "We.... Um, we did it, we had sex". It was silent for a long time. "I didn't know, i-if I had known... I wouldn't have, God, this is too much" I said, "stop worrying about it, you have nothing to worry about. Everything's still the same" "no, it's not, Mom, we're basically brothers".
"Okay, well think about it this way" she said as she lifted me up and looked at me, "you two have always been half-brothers" she informed, "from the minute you two met, you were half-brothers. When you two talked, and joked around, and kissed, you were related, you just didn't know it". She had a point.

I was disappointed because Jacob didn't come to school today. I was thinking about going over to his house, but then I remembered what my dad told me and decided against it. I went straight home and there I found Trina waiting for me. I had to admit, she was kind of weird and I still didn't like her. "How was school?" "Um, good, how was... Uh, I don't know what you did today, so I can't really ask you". She laughed and put her hand on my arm, I looked at her and took a small step back.
"I've got homework to do" I said, I went to my room and closed my door, I even locked it. I pulled out my phone and called Jacob, but he didn't answer. "Hm" I hummed lightly, "okay, I'll try again later". I actaully didn't have any homework, I just really wanted to get away from Trina, so now I'm up here in my room all bored because my boyfriend didn't answer the phone.

I should've answered the phone. I don't know why I didn't, well maybe I did. I'm still kind of nervous to tell Chresanto, I don't want him leaving me. I still love him and still want to be with him, but he may not feel the same way and I'm not sure what I'm going to do if he doesn't. I ignored all these feelings and got ready to take a shower. I think if I just really cleared my mind, I'd be okay.
