Chapter 5 - The Assembly

*******Time Skip A Few Months Later*******
Sapphire had settled into a routine in the months she had be living in Dusk. She would attend then go to the club to laze in the trees or fly afterwards go home. She also go to know Jake and develop feeling for him. One day while the school was having an assembly in the auditorium. When some man came in holding a gun to a mother and marked daughter's head. He was shouting for the hybrid. Sapphire knew he was talking about her but she didn't want to risk being found out and she knew she couldn't risk the mother and child. So she mange to slip backstage and call the head of the region to ask if the school can expose themselves. While she was filling him in she was getting in the rafters above the gunmen to keep an eye him. The head gave her permission to expose them to help a fellow marked one in danger let alone a child. She took off her school clothes to show a transparent open back sleeveless turtleneck with her chest blacked out and a pair of black shortie shorts. Sapphire shouted to get everyone's attention and said "Marked ones reveal." That statement got hollers of joy from all over the room and stripped down to their spider silk clothing. She got up on the rafter railing and said "You wanted the hybrid for what reason?" Sapphire's hawk wings came out her back so she flew down and with her feline grace landed on some seats. While the other marked ones were surrounding him, the bird marked ones in the air, the feline marked ones on the back of seats, and the canine marked ones in the isles. Thus started the stand off between a marked one and a gunmen.
