Marked Ones

Chapter 11 - Jake

Sapphire was traveling at an insane speed for a human while for a marked one like her it wasn't fast enough but it would have to do for she really can't be using her panther speed like any other marked one couldn't openly use their abilities. Sapphire quickly arrived at the school and since she's never rode her motorcycle to school no one realized it was her with her helmet on. She looked at everyone that was gathering around her in curiosity and admiration of her motorcycle. When she brought her hands to her helmet to take it off many people were holding their breath for some reason. Sapphire took of her helmet and shook out her hair so she didn't have helmet hair. That was when Jake saw her and he started to shout to get her attention "Sapphire! Sapphire there you are, are you okay I heard about the school being taken hostage you weren't hurt right? I've been out of town for the pass three days so are you okay?" Sapphire looked at him in the face to  see if he was telling the truth when she saw the he was telling the truth causing her feline instincts to act up for the first time in a long time she pounced on him and started purring in happiness. Jake looked at her confusion and when it dawned on him he started blushing upon seeing what she was wearing along with the fact she had her body pressed against his. " Uh uh uh S-sa-sap-hi-re c-ca-can pl-please let g-go of m-me?" he stuttered out in embarrassment. Sapphire looked at him in bewilderment wondering why he was stuttering then slowly but surely it dawned on her. She herself started to blush a crimson red and Sapphire hid her head in his chest. Jake, of course, thought she look cute blushing.
