Ryan's POV:

I'm the first to walk in the condo at 4:15. Everyone will be here at 5, but I need to be by myself for a while.

I set down my bags and walk towards the plethora of bean bags. I fall backwards and let my body sink in. When I close my eyes, I try to remember the night that I kissed Claire on the cheek.

She looked lovely that night. Her big blue-green eyes were glossy from sleepiness and strands of her chocolatey brown hair were messily braided by me. The dark blue sweater she was wearing was slightly too big, but still hugged her hips beautifully.

Why did I only kiss her on the cheek? I could have made her mine that night. She wouldn't be in Patrick's arms right now.

I let out an audible sigh.

Maybe if I take a nap, she will be in my dreams.

Brendon's POV:

I walk in to see Ryan fast asleep. Of course. When there's something that's as important as Claire being manipulated and lied to, he takes a nap.

"Wake up, Ross." I walk over and shake him slightly.

He rolls over on the bean bag bed he has created and mumbles Claire's name.

"Yeah, that's right. Claire." I say, laughing.

He sits up with his classic bed head, smiling like and idiot.

"Why are you so smiley?" I ask.

"Oh," he starts, either fazed by the question, or still half asleep.

"Just a good dream."

"What? About that hottie you never shut up about in history? Haven't heard about her in a while. Is she still hot?" I tease.

"Nah. Somebody else."

I wanted to pester him more, but we need to let the guys know what's going on.

Dallon and Spencer walk in a few minutes later.

"Thank god. Heat!" Spencer proclaims as he takes off his heavy gray jacket.

"Well, tomorrow is the first day of October." Dallon says.

"Last year, it didn't get this cold until, like, early November." I say.

"Global warming, man." Ry adds.

"Ryan, global warming makes things warm." Dallon teases, and the rest of us burst out laughing.

Once our roaring laughter finally simmered down to a few chuckles, Spencer looks up and says,

"Wait. What was so important?"

"Oh yeah!" Dallon exclaims.

Ryan looked at me.

Well, better now than never.

"Patrick is-" I start, but get cut off by Ry.

"EVIL!" He shouts.

Spencer starts laughing, but Dallon just looks confused.

"What?" Dal asks.

I sigh, trying to convert the mood back to serious once again.

"Patrick is lying to Claire. He is using her." I say.

"For what, her body? I swear to god if he has done anything to her.." Dallon begins to threaten...

"No! No no no. He's using her for her voice."

"Like Ursula?" Spencer asks.

Ryan sighs, but continues.

"He wants to get a record deal with her. That's the only reason they are going out! And now she's in Fall Out Boy, if you hadn't heard already."

"I didn't hear that!" Spencer yelled.

"Wow..." Dallon scratched his arm.

"Yeah.." I say.

"So what are we going to do?" Ryan asks.

"Tell Claire, of course." Says Dallon.

"No." I say. "Patrick needs to learn his lesson. We need to make Claire dump him. If the relationship won't work, neither will the band."

"That's good; really good." Spencer confirms.

"So how are we going to break them up?"

"I've been watching Patrick for a while now, and I know just how to make him tick." Ryan says.

This should be good.
