Chapter 4

June 16th:
Today I kind of woke up early. I was really happy that Shawn apologized. I think I'm starting to like him. That morning I went to breakfast and had French Toast. It was good.

After breakfast, I went to Piano. Shawn and I started to learn "Rewrite The Stars" from The Greatest Showman in there. We are playing on performing it June 26th, which is in 10 days. I'm really looking forward to it.

After Piano class, I went to my room and got my bag and put my flute in it. I also brought my uke with me. Before flute class, I went to the dock and took out my tablet and looked up some songs to play on it. I played Hey There Delilah on it. Shawn came up behind me and then said what I never thought he would say. "Hey. Why didn't you tell me?" He yelled. "Tell you what?" I asked. "That you didn't like me? I've been putting so much time and effort into you. I just don't know what to say". "Excuse me! Who said I didn't like you and who said I did? I'm allowed to like what I like and you can't tell me how to feel" I said.  I was upset after that. I ignored the rest of the stuff Shawn said. I felt tears running down my face. I think he saw them. He went to try to wipe them off until I said "Don't touch me. Please just leave me alone" I said as if I hadn't said anything at all. I turned in walked away. I heard Shawn yell out "Haley, wait!!!!". I just kept walking. There was no way I was dealing with him.

I stared at the ground as it all started to become blurry. I tried to hide the pain inside the best I could. The only way I knew how to was to not talk to Shawn unless were practicing our song. That is exactly what i planned on doing. I went to flute class. We were allowed to play whatever we wanted to. I played Perfect by Ed Sheeran. It was the only thing that could calm me down.
After that, I went to the Dining Area and got lunch.

Shawn's Point of View:
I didn't again. I hurt Haley for a something that should have been brought up in a nice, quiet environment. I've learned stuff about myself recently. Went I'm around famous people, I like drama. When I'm not, I like to cause it. Unfortunately, Haley has to deal with it. I also have not found the girl yet. I have had multiple people try out and none of them have been her. She had a distinct voice, one like no other. I should head down and get lunch. After lunch, I went to the piano room cause that is where Haley said she meet me to practice at. Before that, I was think of the movie "Camp Rock" and started to play "Introducing Me".

After I was finished, I turned around to see Haley standing there just staring. She said "I actually enjoyed that. It was nice". Then what I did next was unexpected to her and me. I got up and kissed her. She actually let me go in and do it. I was surprised, but it was really nice. I guess we kind of both just caved in from all of the stuff going on between us. After that, I pulled away. She stared at me for about 5 seconds until she turned around and walked out. "Haley!! Wait!" I yelled.

Haley's Point of View:
"Haley!!! Wait!" Shawn yelled. I waited for him. "What do you want?" I asked. "Can we please talk about what just happened back there?" Shawn asked. "Do you want to kiss me while you do that too? I don't think I can handle anymore of this. After the first performance, I won't be talking to you for a while, and I want you to leave me alone. When I think we're good, it turns out we're not. I don't think I can take anymore of the heartbreaks" I told him.

That night, I went to the cabin earlier. Rose was going to bring me back dinner. Rose came back and gave me some food. After that I told them whats been happening. Then I went to bed earlier then usual. I had to forget about this somehow. I dosed off again that night, hoping to not run into another day like this tomorrow.
