June 25th:
Today is one day until Shawn and I perform our song at Open Mic night. Currently, I am working on learning the ending of the song on piano, while Shawn is out with another girl. That's ok with me though, we aren't speaking to each other. The only time we do is in Piano class.

Shawn's Point of View:
Tomorrow I have to sing that song with Haley. I'm not looking forward to it. We aren't on speaking terms and it is literally killing me. It hurts me that she wants this, but I have to respect he decision. Maybe one day, She'll forgive me for all that I put her threw. Maybe we could then be more then just friends. "Shawn, stop thinking that. That might never happen or anything". "Hey Shane, what's up?" I asked him. "What were you playing on your guitar? Also, have you found your girl yet?" He asked. "I have not found the girl yet. I was playing her song on my guitar. It goes 'So come over, listen to me, I've got another book and it's full of stories'.I can't get it out of my head. It's all I think about" I told him.

Rose's Point of View:
I just found out from Jasmine that Haley told Shawn that she is 17, when in reality she is only 15. I'm going to get her to admit it at Open Mic tomorrow. I was walking along, when I heard Shawn singing "I've got another book, and it's full of stories". I've heard that before, but where. I think that's Haley's song. She isn't going to see the end of Open Mic or The Voice Off. She better be careful about what she does.

Haley's Point of View:
I was heading to piano when I heard that same voice that crushes me every time we get close. "Haley! Can we talk?" He asked. "Shawn, you can speak to me now. I forgive you. Just try and not let it happen again, or we may have problems" I told him. "I'm not letting go of you this time, and I won't every do that again, unless we're together" he told me. He put his arm around me, and pulled me closer to him as we walked. I held his hand that he put around me. For once, I finally was happy being next to Shawn.

I then accidentally said out loud "You aren't anything like I remember. You've changed so much, and you become a better person everyday I'm next to you". Oh no. "I was just think that. I didn't want to say that out loud just yet" I told Shawn. "It's ok. I'm glad you said that. Meeting you has made me want to change. Let's go to the lake. I want to sing you a song I wrote" Shawn said. I followed him. He pulled out a notebook. "This song is call 'In My Blood'. I hope you like it".

Shawn's Point of View:
I started to sing it to her.
(Lyrics From Genius.Com)
"[Intro]
Help me, it's like the walls are caving in
Sometimes I feel like giving up
But I just can't
It isn't in my blood
[Verse 1]
Laying on the bathroom floor, feeling nothing
I'm overwhelmed and insecure, give me something
I could take to ease my mind slowly
Just have a drink and you'll feel better
Just take her home and you'll feel better
Keep telling me that it gets better
Does it ever?
[Chorus]
Help me, it's like the walls are caving in
Sometimes I feel like giving up
No medicine is strong enough
Someone help me
I'm crawling in my skin
Sometimes I feel like giving up
But I just can't
It isn't in my blood
[Post-Chorus]
It isn't in my blood
[Verse 2]
Looking through my phone again feeling anxious
Afraid to be alone again, I hate this
I'm trying to find a way to chill, can't breathe, oh
Is there somebody who could...
[Chorus]
Help me, it's like the walls are caving in
Sometimes I feel like giving up
No medicine is strong enough
Someone help me
I'm crawling in my skin
Sometimes I feel like giving up
But I just can't
It isn't in my blood
[Post-Chorus]
It isn't in my blood
[Bridge]
I need somebody now
I need somebody now
Someone to help me out
I need somebody now
[Chorus]
Help me, it's like the walls are caving in
Sometimes I feel like giving up
But I just can't
It isn't in my blood
[Post-Chorus]
It isn't in my blood
It isn't in my blood
I need somebody now
It isn't in my blood
I need somebody now
It isn't in my blood".

Haley's Point of View:
"Shawn, I'm speechless. I really liked that a lot. Do you think the record company will let you sell that" I asked him. "There's only one thing to do, and that is to try. Sometimes, I don't know if people are hanging around me to get famous, or free things. I can never tell if they want to know the REAL me" Shawn told me. "Oh, you know it's only for the free stuff" I chuckled at him. "Your a jerk" he chuckled back. We both started to laugh together.

Rose's Point of View:
Haley and Shawn are out on the lake right now. They are laughing and enjoying themselves. Good think that isn't going to be a thing much longer. I intend on having Shawn be mine.

Haley's Point of View:
I really enjoyed listening to Shawn sing. I can't wait for tomorrow night. After him singing, we headed to the dinning hall to get dinner. We sat together and got to know each other a little better. We held hands and just kind of comforted each other. After dinner we went to the camp fire and sat down. We stared up at the stars. "It's beautiful out here tonight" I told Shawn. "But, not as beautiful as you" he replied back. I started to blush, and take in the moment. Around 10, he walked me back to my cabin, where I gave him a hug and said "Goodnight Mr.Mendes". "Goodnight Haley" he said back before turning around and leaving. I walked into my cabin. I put on my sweatshirt and leggings and headed off to bed. Today was one of the best days I've ever had with Shawn. I can't wait for tomorrow to be just as good as today was.
