Chapter 13

July 26th:
Today is 6 days until The Voice Off. I woke up and sat on my bed, staring at the ceiling. I was thinking to myself about the mess I was put through. I didn't let it get to me though. I don't need a guy to make me happy. I don't need a guy putting me down all the time. Following that thought, I got out of bed and headed to my bathroom. I took a shower, then blow dried my hair. I put on a old t-shirt and some athletic shorts. I brushed my teeth and hair. I pulled all my hair back and put it in a pony tail. After that I walked out of the bathroom, only to see that there was no one in my cabin. I pulled out my phone and looked up the karaoke version of Alien By: Sabrina Carpenter and Jonas Blue.

After dancing around my room and pretending like I was in the music video for that, I put my phone in my bag and headed towards the piano room. I heard a voice behind me yell "Haley! Wait up". To my surprise, it was actually Jasmine.

Jasmine's Point of View:
Haley told me everything that Shawn has done to her this whole summer. I can't believe Haley would ever let him do that to her. She hasn't talked to him since he pulled that little stunt. He really is a true dick. Anyways, I head to piano to help out Haley with her struggle. "Haley! Wait up!" I yelled. She turned around and she was amazed to see me. "Thank god it's you. If was afraid it was going to be Shawn" she told me.

Haley's Point of View:
I walked into piano with Jasmine to see Shawn sitting beside another girl. It kind of broke my heart, but at the same time I'm happy for him. I hope that girl doesn't get put what I got put through. "Haley, what kind of beat do you want your song to have drumwise?" Jasmine asked. I took out my iPad and created the drum part on garage band. Then, we added a little of the violin. We than headed over to the piano. Jasmine played my chords while I hummed my song. I saw Shawn get up and walk over. "Can I help you?" I asked in a rude way. "N... o..." he said. I didn't pay any mind to him. Instead of letting it get to my head, I kind of just continued what I was doing until class was over. "Heyyyyy" I said. I looked up to see Shawn.
