火神 大我 (Kagami Taiga)

Months had passed since Seirin's victory at the Winter Cup. After graduating from high school, Miyaji, Imayoshi, Higuchi, Kasamatsu and Okamura formed a street ball university team called "STRKY". One day, they had to play against an internationally famous and highly skilled street ball team from the United States of America called "Jabberwock". Not only did Team STRKY lose against them, they and the rest of the Japanese citizens were humiliated by the captain, Nash Gold Jr., who labeled them as monkeys and told everyone to go kill themselves and to give up on playing basketball. Consequently, the Japanese people were all enraged by this, especially the Japanese basketball players who heard him either on the court or through the TV at home. Kagetora, who was Jabberwock's guide, declared to have a revenge match in a week's time, and they gladly accepted the challenge.

After that episode, Kagetora called the Generation of Miracles, Kuroko and Kagami to form a team called "Vorpal Swords", who would defeat Team Jabberwock and make them apologise to everyone they had insulted. Riko was invited to be the assistant coach while Momoi became the manager. Yasu wasn't able to make it to the training due to overlooking the Seirin first-years' Summer training, but volunteered to provide as much analysis as she could for the team if they needed them.

During their third-year at Teiko Junior High, the Generation of Miracles had lost their team play and became independent players, completely not working together as a team anymore. In order to rebuild their former teamwork to win against their common enemy, they had to improve their team play for effective plays. During their training, they focused on passing and possible combinations which would be the most effective against their opponents. To improve the team balance further, Kagetora had Hyuga, Takao and Wakamatsu join the team as bench players.

A week had passed, and it was time for Team Vorpal Swords to play against Team Jabberwock. It was a tough battle, but in the end, Team Vorpal Swords won the match. The entire stadium, and possible the entire nation, cheered for their team. Kagetora decided to throw a party for them as a celebration at the stadium where the team had their training with him. The rest of Seirin, including Yasu and her cousins, were invited to join as well.

"Really, you guys can drink some!" said a drunk Kagetora while holding a can of beer. "It's finally over! Let's party!"

"Um..." called Hyuga. "We're too young to drink."

"Then have some juice instead!" said the man, holding up a bottle of juice to him. "Everybody, come here!"

"Well..." began Momoi. "Riko-san, your dad really spent a lot on food, didn't he?"

"We're really gonna go broke." cried the said girl while covering her face in shame.

"Geez." sighed Aomine. "This is all such overdo."

"I don't care since I can eat candies." said Murasakibara while sitting at the table with piles of candies on his arm cast.

"Is your hand okay?" asked Yasu with concern.

"It doesn't matter to me." he replied before munching on a piece of chocolate-coated biscuit stick.

"Anyways, what happened back there, Akashi?" asked Midorima as he recalled what happened at the end of the fourth quarter.

"Nothing to worry about." assured the said boy. "Just felt determined to win. Let's all enjoy the celebration now."

Kise then went behind Murasakibara and took a piece of biscuit stick from him. "Anyways, you gotta agree that I was really strong out there!" he said proudly. "Right, people from Seirin?"
