**This chapter is really the worst. I jumped into this really quick and the layout is just awful. I will more than likely come back during my spare time and re-write this. Just a heads up**

School was pretty boring.

It was the same as any other day. My pack and I laid low and kept to ourselves. No one in our town knows of our existence, and we would like to keep it that way.

Along the lines of laying low, you might think that we could get bullied and picked on for it. But really, we don't. The kids don't bother us because we don't bother them. It makes keeping our secret a secret a lot easier on us.

After the last bell had rung, signaling school was done for the day, I started to make my way down the hall towards the front door of the school. Earlier I told the pack to meet me by the doors once school was out. Much to my relief, they were all there when I walked up.

"Taylor! What are your plans for us tonight? I have a huge Chem test tomorrow that I need to study for." Sierra gives me a worried look as I lead my pack through the parking lot. Dark clouds were looming overhead still from the storm this morning, and the wind was starting to pick up a bit.

"One quick patrol. Then you are good to go." I reply without even giving her a glance. I was too focused on my plans for the patrol.

I would split the pack up as I usually do; Justin takes two wolves, Austin takes two wolves. One patrol goes North, the other South. Yes, I use the same set up that my old pack did. It's very simple and easy and it gets the job done much more efficiently.

The patrol that would go North would split up as well- a few wolves going deeper in the territory to smell out the rogues. The South would do the same thing.

Our territory is very large and thick with timber. Only a few meadows show themselves every other mile. My most favorite spot in the territory was the small waterfall that fell into a cute pond, surrounded by trees and flat rocks that were perfect for tanning. It was a perfectly peaceful place to just get away and relax.

None of our fellow students payed us any mind as my pack and I entered the trees. We took this route everyday- going to and from school. Not too far into the trees did our territory start, so in the mornings we just meet up at the pack house and run to the boarder in our wolf forms. We haven't been caught yet.

"Taylor, what are we going to do about this morning?" Austin breaks the silence as we slowly draw closer to our boarder. Dante's head snaps up at the sound of this.

"What happened this morning?" He questions, him and the rest of the pack looking slightly offended that they weren't told about the events that took place this morning.

"Justin, Austin and I found a very.... mutilated deer not far from the pack house." I say slowly, the pack's pace faltering slightly at the new information. "We first thought it was the group of rogues, but, after closer inspection we deduced it was a one wolf act."

Sierra didn't take lightly to this.

"Why didn't you tell us this morning? We could have taken time from school to take care of this." Her hurt tone was obvious. I give her an affectionate look.

"Firstly, we all have taken plenty of days off school for things like this. We don't need to be drawing attention to ourselves. Second, we didn't want to distract you guys from school." I offer softly and the pack takes it gladly.

"So, what's the plan then?" Blake questions as we all finally step into our territory, heaving our bags off our shoulders and shoving them into a deep pit in the earth we dug long ago. I answer him as I cover the bags up with branches and twigs.
