Chapter 7. Wyatt. Clue #1 Is Gone

I stay at the attic with my mom, we have to look for the black coat demon in the book to stop everything, for good.

I flip pages in the book, I remember the demon with black long straight hair, a pair of sun-glasses and a red mark of a mockinjay in the cheek.

I finally find him, a treasure hunter named Lex.

"Here it is" I point " His name is Lex, it says we can find him in the underworld caves looking for supposed treasures" I look at mom "We just have to orb there and ask him who sent him"

Mom looks at me, crossing her arms, I know that position "You think it is that easy? He is a demon you guys couldn't vanquish" she looks at the book "There must be a potion there, we'll prepare it and go find the demon, we'll make a plan.

I look at mom with a lot of doubts and she noticies "You never did a plan when you went there to find the other demon right?".

I deny with my head "We are better improvising"

"Listen Wyatt, this isn't a game" she looks frustrated "If you want to do this by yourself you need to realize your lifes are in danger every minute"

"What your mom means" aunt Paige starts, I had forgotten she, aunt Phoebe and dad were there "Is that you need a plan almost for everything, Wyatt"

"Okay, I'm sorry, we'll be more careful the next time. Let's prepare the potion" I point at the book of shadows.

"Leo" mom looks at dad "Can you go bring Chris back up here?"

"Sure" he answers and leaves the attic, closing the door once he's out.

"I think we have all the ingredients up here" mom tells me.

"Let's start then" I answer.

We put all the ingredients and the cloudron together, we are about to start and dad breaks into the attic.

"Chris is gone. I called him but he said he has something important to fix with this girl Amy"

"With Amy?" I demand "I told him to stop trying to get her, she is weird" Everybody is staring at me waiting for more information "she keeps secrets all the time. She goes to the restroom but she doesn't let any other girl go with her. I would say she is on drugs"

"I guess my advice was wrong.." aunt Phoebe says "Just don't date anybody guys"

We spend 20 minutes preparing the potion, mom will go with me instead of Chris. The potion was difficult to prepare, we had to mix lots of things at the same time but we could finally get it. We got three veils of the potion.

"You will orb us some cave down there Wyatt" mom says. We both put on a Jacket.

"Some cave?" I ask.

"Random" mom adds.

I orb to a cave with lava on the walls and rocks around, we look everywhere for a demon but we can't find any.

"Let's walk around" mom orders.

We start walking through the cave and find three demons.

"I'm old at this but I'll try just to hurt them" she puts her hands up and shoots. She blows up the three demons, vanquishing one of them. The two others hit the ground, stand up and shoot energy balls at us.

"Energy balls!" I put my hands up and the energy balls orb right to the demons as I point to them. One of them gets vanquished.

"Fast Wyatt, freeze the other one"

I put my hands up and freeze the demon. We walk right to him, mom unfreezes just his head so he can talk.

"Hi, I wouldn't like to vanquish you so you have to tell me where to find Lex"

The demon stares at us, after some seconds he talks "I came from meeting him. You can find him that way" he points to a dark road "He was telling me something about attacking some guys to get a book"

"Nobody messes with my kids" mom says as she blows up the demon, vanquishing him.

We take the dark way, half the road we don't get to see a single thing, but when we do I just see dry blood.

We finally get to a bigger cave, Lex is standing in the center looking at the wall. He looks at us.

"Why so pensative?" Mom asks "Freeze him, Wyatt".

I put my hands up and the demon gets frozen. I point at his head and unfreeze it.

"Tell us who sent you" I demand.

"It isn't going to be that easy" he replies.

"Okay, so I can start blowing your arms" mom says while putting her hands up.

"Okay, I'll say everything I know" Lex says "But you gotta throw that potion" I forgot to put it in my Jacket.

"Do you want me to blow your body member by member?" Mom asks.

"Try me" Lex seems decided "You'd still have no answers"

I throw the potion in the floor, it gets broken.

"Wyatt!" Mom yells.

"And the other veils you brang" Lex says "Knowing a charmed I would say you have two more" he looks at me.

Mom and I look at eachother, we'll have to do it if we want answers. I get the potion out of my jacket and mom does the same, we throw them in the floor.

"Perfect" Lex is starring at mom "I was sent by somebody who I thought was dead" definetely not uncle Cole, aunt Phoebe told him to leave and he did so "A powerful demond who wants revenge now..." He keeps silence for a while "Belthazor"

Mom's face tells me she's scared to hell, Belthazor is Cole's demond name, it was true.

"Tell us the truth!" Mom yells "He is dead" dead? What does she mean? I look at her confused but she is starring at Lex.

"That's the truth" he says. He recovers his movement, put his hands up and two fireballs appear on them.

"Let's go" mom says as she grabs my arm. I orb us out of there to the attic, nobody's there.

"Mom, you didn't tell us the truth about cole, right?"

"Phoebe felt that it was going to scare you and you were going to stop believing in true love" she answers. "Cole tried to alternate our reality some years ago, and somehow Paige got free of it and got to vanquish him in that reality, bringing back our reality, eliminating him in this reality" long story "I have to talk to your aunts" she looks nervous. She walks out of the attic.
