I arrive at Coffee shop, Amy is waiting for me by the door. The streets are very transited at this time of the day, noon.
"Hi, can we get in?" I ask Amy.
"I was going to call a friend to ask her to come with me in case you didn't come"
"Come on Amy. I'm here now, let's enjoy this" I tell her.
I open the door and ask her in, we both enter and take a table for two next to a window. The witress comes to us and asks for our order.
"Good day! what can I serve you?"
"What do you want?" I ask Amy.
"I want a capuccino" she says.
"Same to me please" I tell the witress.
He goes to the kitchen.
"Where were you that was so important to skip our date?" She asks me.
"Family issues" I answer.
She looks at me with a worried face "Just tell me everytime you can't come and I'll understand. Don't you just skip it"
"Okay, I will tell you next time, I promise" I tell her. She puts her arms around my neck.
"I was so worried about you" she says.
...
We go out, and sit on a bench in front of the coffee shop. I see and old friend, Andrew, a guy with brown hair and green eyes, weird combination, I wave at him, he waves back and enters a store that is across the street.
I don't know how Wyatt is taking care of the situation, he always needs help, I should probably go now.
"Amy, I'm sorry this has to end now, but I gotta go." I say.
"Why? What's going on?"
"The family issues, you know" I answer.
"Okay, take care" she kisses my lips and I kiss her back.
I take my way home and she takes her way on the opposite direction. I realize I have to go to the restroom so I turn around and go to the coffee shop again, I see amy far away.
Once I am in the restroom and did everything I had to do, I wash my hands and look at myself at the mirror, somebody fades in behind of me. The demon we interrogated.
"I knew you would be alone" he says and puts his hand up, generating a fireball. He throws it at me but I throw myself at the floor. He comes closer and kicks me in the stomach, leaving me with no air, I am not able to move, he is now going to throw an energy ball at me. I cover my face, with my hands with the best effort I can, I don't want to see this, I want to call my brother but no voice comes out of my mouth, it's my end.
Some seconds after nothing happens, I uncover my face, look up and see a black hoddie going out, somebody just saved my life.
I am now able to move and notice ashes in the ground. I orb to my house.
I arrive in the living room, and sit on the couch, dad was there. I look at him, worried.
"Hey, what happened?" He asks.
"The demon we interrogated" I start "he happened"
"Really? You defeated him?"
"No, he was going to kill me. Somebody saved me"
"Who? Who would stop an energy ball?"
"I don't know. I just saw a black hoddie going out, I covered my face so I wouldn't see my dead so I didn't see who saved me" I notice something "Hey, I never said he was going to throw an energy ball at me"
"Oh! That's what it says in the book. That they use to throw energy balls" he seems suspicious, maybe he's my saver, how else would he know how he was going to kill me?
"Okay. I'll go upstairs and tell Wyatt about this" I say.
"Sure" he goes to the kitchen and I go to the attic.
