Kate and I dance, possesed by the music, moving closer and closer to eachother, we both know that we want eachother, she wants to kiss me as much as I want to kiss her. I point at the sky letting Kate know is about to rain, that is about to get better. We just heard the announcement Daniel said, the rain would start in any minute.

"Are you having a good time?" I ask Kate, yelling so that she can hear me over the sound of the music. She nods, smiling and dancing, looking at my eyes, she looks so perfect. I'm sweating thanks to all the jumping and moving, but enjoying every single minute, smiling every opportunity I can so that she smiles back and I can see that perfect smile, with that perfect mouth I would be kissing soon.

"Do you regret this?" Y yell again, smiling.

"Not at all" she yells and smiles back, making my heart jump.

"I'm glad to hear that" in the moment I finish this sentence, I feel the wet rain in my hand, then in my head and then all over my clothes and body. Kate stares at me while she dances. Somebody yells a "Whoooo" inside, wild teens crazy for the rain, crazy for the music, crazy for the party.

"We should go inside" Kate says while she stops. She grabs my hand but instead of letting her lead me to the door I push her close to me, making our eyes meet, her blue eyes feel like everything that matters right now, they seem full of life, full of everything. It's crazy how I could be in love with her, she left for a long while and then came back texting me about hanging out again. She is my family, but she is beautiful.

I get closer to her, our mouths touch and I give her a long soft kiss, feeling like flying, feeling like anything else matter, not even the fact that somebody is after us.

...

I had asked Daniel if there's a room we could use and here we are in Daniel's parents bedroom in the second floor, a queensize bed in the middle of the room, bookshelfs on the right side of the room and a closset on the left one, a big mirror in fron of the bed next to a telivision, a big one.

Kate kissis me strong, I push her against the wall as I grab her hips, then kiss her even stronger, letting ourselves lose in the moment. I push her to the bed, making her ley down, I take my t-shirt off, she glances at me then puts her legs around me, pulling me closer to her. The moment is perfect, she looks beautiful as always, she is stunning, sexy, a girl anybody would want. But suddenly, she stops.

"Wyatt, this is not right" she whispers at my ear.

"I tould you I'm not a rules guy" I answer.

"This is different" she pushes me away and I stand up from the bed "We are family and we are..." She stares at the bed, messed by us, it seems like nobody hasn't made it since a week ago.

"We love eachother, don't we?" I ask, staring at her with a provocative look.

"That doesn't mean it is right" tears rolling down her face.

"So, that's it?"

"Sorry, Wyatt, yes" she glances at me.

"I can't believe it! I thought you just cared about us!" I start to yell "I thought you really wanted to be with me!"

"I want to! But things changed!" she stands up "Just understand" she's not crying anymore, she seems angry now "Can you tell me where is a bathroom here?"

I lead her to a bathroom in the same floor, next to another room with the door closed but the lights turned on, probably a couple having fun, a real couple. She enters, cloosing the door.

"I'll be downstairs" I say, leaving the bathroom behind me, leaving Kate behind me.

...

I stand next to the drinks table, staring at the rest of the people having fun, it is great that somebody was still enjoying the party, but I don't anymore, I would drive home with Kate once she's back from the bathroom and go to sleep. Does it really take them 15 minutes to do what they have to do? Maybe she is crying for what happened, no, she is probably planing how she is going to leave the city, or about getting a new boyfriend, good luck finding somebody that loves her as much as I do. 20 minutes now, long enough so I decide to go up and see. I go through all the people, this time more since they all had to come inside when it started to rain. I go upstairs, the room is the third room in the hallway so I see the lights turned on and the door opened, the room next to it was also opened now, good for them.

I look inside, but nobody is in there, instead of Kate there's a note on the floor next to the toilet, Kate's handwriting on it

'I love you Wyatt, but things are getting worse every second I stay here, so I'm leaving now. Don't try to find me, this is the best for us. Sincerely, Kate'
