Charmed: The Brothers Path

Chapter 3. Wyatt. Aunt Phoebe's Advice Came Late.

I orb right to the park, I sense if there's anybody there, but there isn't so I appear. This park, with its tall grass and big trees, is the place where I like to go think things like these, the ones that are hard to process. In danger again, mom has told me stories about how demons tried to get me when I was just a kid.

I sit on a green bench, the park feels like it'a all for me, I just hear the sound of the singing birds, and the sound of the air moving the leafes of the tree.

Chris is as powerful at me, but why didn't demons try to get him? Or they did? Maybe mom just didn't tell me. This would mean Melinda, our sister, is as powerful as us too, she is in the same danger, I have to warn her.

"Powers of the withches rise" I hope summoning her is a good idea "course unseen across the sky" at least I can remember a spell "come to me that call you near, come to me and settle here" I wait a few seconds when nothing happens, then she appears in front of me, with a white flash.

"Sorry for answering a little late" Melinda says. She has brown-blonde hair and wears a red jacket, but it seems to be from a man "I missed you Wyatt, good to see you" She'as been on a trip to London, away from the family.

"You too. But I didn't summon you because I missed you. I have to warn you" I answer

"Warn me about what?"

"There's somebody after us. Mom thinks is Cole"

"What?" Melinda seems confused. I just dropped a bomb at her, just told her all the information.

"You just have to be really careful" I say "They are trying to get us, or our powers. Or maybe trying to kills us. I don't know"

She remains in silence, looking at the street next to the park. She looks at something and puts on a worried expression.

"Wyatt. Look" She tells me while pointing at the street. I look and I see people, a dog and a car going downstreet, but they are all frozen.

We don't say anything and stare at the frozen people for a minute.

A demon appears next to a tree in front of us. He puts a hand up and a fireball appears on it. He throws the fireball at Melinda but she moves and it hits anoter tree.

I run right to Melinda and the demon puts his hand up again and an energy ball appears.

"¡Energy ball!" I call for it as the demon throws it at us. The energy ball orbs back to him, hits and throws him through the air, ending on the ground.

"I'll freeze him, then you use your projection power" I tell Melinda.

I put my hands up as the demon runs right to us and he freezes. Melinda stays paralized. She hasn't been in a demon fight since she went on that trip 2 years ago.

"¡Do something!" I begg Melinda "Use your power"

Melinda closes her eyes but nothing happens. She tries to focus but she doesn't get it.

¡Melinda I need you!" I yell

"¡Shut up!" she screams. She seems frustrated. "I'm trying" she's desperate.

After a while, a white-yellow ball appears between the demon and us.

"You're doing it right" I tell Melinda. My power is off and the demon gets his movement back. "¡Work it out Melinda!"

The demon stares at the ball, confused.

"¡Shut up!" Melinda screams "SHUUUT UUUUUUP" I notice her desperate, angry expression and the ball explodes, destroying plants and the bench, I grab Melinda's arm to orb so we don't get hurt but as soon as I start orbing the explotion hits us and the demon throwing us through the air, then we hit the floor.

I am grabbing Melinda's jacket. We both stand up and look at the demon, he was hurt much enough, he looks at us and disappears.

"I have to go back" Melinda tells me.

"Just one last aunt Phoebe's advice" As soon as I say it a purple energy ball arrives from up in the sky, then the ball transforms into a man.

"Honey, what happened?" he tells Melinda. Honey? I think aunt Phoebe's advice came late.

"Is he your boyfriend?" I ask her

"Yes, he is. Wyatt this is Brent, Brent this is Wyatt" she replies.

"Wyatt, I've heard a lot about you" Brent says.

I just stay silent, Melinda is dating a magical creature, a magical person.

"We must leave now" Melinda says while hugging Brent with a sad expression. They turn into the purple ball and fly up in the air.

Should I tell mom about Brent? And what is he? A witch? Something else I don't remember? I must go check the book of a shadows and I must inform about the attack.
