Thomas
His heart would flutter as the boys locked lips, never had a kiss felt so right.
Thomas fell asleep in Dylan's arms for a second time, something he would never have been able to do alone or with anyone else for that matter. Despite sleeping safely in his best friend's arms Thomas suddenly woke up an hour later, he carefully removed Dylan's arm from him and slowly got up from the small bed they had slept in the previous night. He walked towards the bathroom, unsure of what led him there.
Thomas stood in front of the bathroom mirror staring at his own reflection. He looked weak, you could tell he had not been keeping up with all the meals that he should have. Though the dark circles under his eyes were not as clear as before they were still a prominent feature on the boy's face. He let out a sigh as disgust filled him, why would someone want to be with him.
He was just a broken boy, who couldn't see a future, a future where he would finally feel like himself again.
He was snapped out of his dark thoughts by a groan coming from the adjoined bedroom. Thomas sighed once again, how could his mind still linger around these thoughts when the most wonderful boy he knew a day earlier had confessed his love for him, he should feel some sort of joy.
But Thomas problems were complicated, they would not disappear because of him finding his soulmate. It would take a lot for him to finally be able to feel true and complete happiness, he wondered if him starting something with the love of his life would really be fair to his now lover.
He hated himself for thinking it, but he wondered if him and Dylan getting together could help him or if it would just bring Dylan down.
These questions would eventually resolve themselves, but it would take time.
Time and effort, and maybe, just maybe a bit of love would eventually save the broken boy from his own mind.

I am aware that it is short but I've decided to post shorter chapters more frequently instead of long chapters with years apart.
