Dylan
Dylan had never felt anything like that before, the kiss just felt right. Even though he hadn't planned on telling Thomas about his feelings of affection he was glad he did. The broken boy needed all the support he could get and Dylan lying would not help him.
He felt seven times lighter after finally enlightening Thomas about his feelings, yet he could not help but to wonder where this was going to go, would them being romantically involved have a negative effect on their friendship? And how would everyone else react? The last question was not prioritized in his mind because in this moment he had everything he could ever want and more. He could not care less about how anyone felt about the two together now that he finally had Thomas within his reach.
Because Dylan had never been happier he feared that this was only a dream so he discreetly pinched himself to ensure that this was in fact real. Apparently he did not pinch himself discreetly enough since Thomas clearly noticed.
"What are you doing?", Thomas chuckled with his enchanting dark brown eyes locked on Dylan's.
"Just making sure that this is not a dream. It feels as if it's too good to be true.", Dylan answered slightly unsure of how the boy in front of him would react. To his relief Thomas responded with yet another chuckle, shook his head and kissed Dylan on the nose.
"You're too cute O'Brien, of course this is real. You of all people deserve everything you wish for. You are the kindest human being I have ever come to know."
This made Dylan blush. He shook his head and once again leaned forward so that the boys would lock lips for a second time.
A/N: school sucks, I seem to have a writers block on this story while also having several unfinished assignments in school overdue. I felt like it's better to post a short chapter than not posting anything at all right?
