Sitting at my desk in front of Mrs. Wilson's office, she's been out at a meeting for the past hour. She had left me to make copies for her classes that start Monday. It's only Thursday but she's busy all day tomorrow so she will want to make sure everything is taken care of today. The one thing I love about these offices is the fact that they are all windows, so I know whose here. The office that's been empty since I started working here has its lights on, I press a couple buttons on the copier and walk over to the window looking in at the empty desk. There must be a new teacher joining the department.

Mrs. Wilson walks past me to her office. I grab the stack of papers from the copier and walk back to her office. "Oh, (Y/N)! There you are, will you get supplies for the new teacher?"

I nod, "Oh course," I put the papers down on my desk, then poke my head back in her office, "When will they be joining us?"

She smiles, "He's already here for meetings, but he will be moving his things in this today or tomorrow."

I smile back, "Oh, it's a he?" She looks at me confused. "I didn't mean anything by it. I just mean that it will be nice to see a man around here." I shake my head bowing my head in shame, "I'm just going to walk away."

She starts laughing at me, "You know for a graduating English Major you stumble over your words a lot."

"I just stop thinking as I speak," I say walking out of the room. I go to the closet trying to hide the fact that I'm flustered. Mrs. Wilson and I have a very fun relationship, but sometimes I feel like I embarrass myself way too much. I quickly just pull things off the shelfs, then walk across the hallway unpacking things and placing them on the desk.

I realized I have grabbed three of the same pen pack, I grab the extra packs and walk back to the supply closet. I actually start grabbing one of everything and open the door to walk back. I drop a pack so something on the floor, I hear her talking to someone and she stops in front of the door. I begin to reach down to pick up the thing I dropped when someone bends down and picks it up for me.

He stands back up and our eyes meet, I feel my heart hit the floor, "Mr. Fischbach."

Mrs. Wilson looks between the both of us, he looks over at her smiling. "She was a student of mine last semester, she was amazing."

I feel myself starting to shake, he's holding out the item that I dropped, I grab it without touching him and pull my arm back to me. "Well I'm glad you have a familiar face here." She says walking away, I look down at the things in my arms as he walks around me. I quickly go into his empty office, and messily start unpacking things.

She ends the tour outside of the empty office. She's facing away from me, but I can feel his eyes staring at me. I finish and throw the trash in the can next to the door, "(Y/N), I have a meeting in a couple of minutes. I told Mark here if you need anything just to ask." She says standing in the doorway. She smiles over at me and I have to force a smile.

He smiles, "I actually am looking for a calendar, there's a lot of things I need to keep track of so far and if I don't write all these down I'm going to forget." He waves a piece of paper that was in his hand.

"Oh, (Y/N) gave me a wonderful planner just the beginning of this week. I'm sure she can find you one too!" She turns back to him, "I really have to get going. I will be back in about an hour." I wave shyly at her and she walks away.

I look around his office for a minute, "I'll try and find you something." I say shyly. I hear the door close forcing me to look over at him.

"I've missed you," he says looking down at the ground.
