I was not the first one in the office this morning. The first thing I decide to do today is get the conference room set up for the meeting later. Finishing that up Mark's here now in his office, I notice there's a new note on my desk. I grab it and look at his office, his blinds are down, I read the note, Yesterday is the first day since we have been together where I had to force myself to walk away from you before I kissed you. It broke my heart thinking I can't kiss you whenever I want. There's another note behind it, You will never be as bad as that girl, I hope she's not making you mad.

I roll my eyes and put them in the drawer where I sit, I walk over to his office. "Hey are you still going to the kick-off tomorrow?"

He smiles, "Of course."

I stand there for a second, "Is the offer still there for me to go with you?"

He stands up, "What happened to you going away for the weekend?"

I step into his office and close the door, "My dad is having a problem at work so he's going to spend all night tomorrow trying to figure out what is going on. He said that if they have it figured out by Saturday he would come up. I'm still going to go however I just need to leave here by 9 at least and I figured that a party for the school that starts at 6 won't last past 9 so."

He smiles, "So you want to go with me?"

I shrug my shoulders, "I mean I guess." I roll my eyes and bite my bottom lip.

He sighs, "We can just go over there from here. I'll get us diner and everything."

I point my finger at him, "This isn't a date."

He rolls his eyes and shrugs his shoulders as well, "I never said it was."

I shake my head as I turn around and open the door, "Oh, I set up the conference room for the meeting later, is there anything that you specifically need?"

He shakes his head, "Nope, thank you!" He smiles then walks past to the box sitting on the desk, "I almost forgot about this," he says as he walks back to his office. I chuckle to myself then start working on the homework that is due tomorrow for two of my classes.

Hours have passed and the meeting starts in about 5 minutes, Mark steps out of his office. "You better get in the conference room for the meeting," he says holding a bunch of papers in his hands.

I point to myself, "Me? I have nothing to do with being a teacher at this school."

He smiles, "I only need you in there for the first couple of minutes."

"You said that last time," I said squinting my eyes.

He shakes his head, "Just... I need you in there and when I'm done you can come back out here and work on homework or print out your notes for tomorrow's classes." I stare at him then sigh, "If you don't go into that conference room I will pick you up, put you over my shoulder and take you in there myself."

I press my lips together, "Give me a minute, the meeting doesn't start for another 3."

He puts his hands down on my desk getting in my face, "You have one minute."

I sit up closer to his face making myself more uncomfortable than anything, "You are not the boss of me anymore sir."

I can tell by the look on his face he's clenching his jaw and he sighs walking back into his office, I stand up and walk back to the conference room only to find that I'm the only one in here. Even the actual teachers are not even here yet. I wasn't long before he the room started to fill and Mark walks into the room. He walks up beside me and hands me another card, I just hold it in my hands and he walks to the front of the room to start the meeting. "Alright, the first thing I want to address is that Mrs. Wilson's office is now "empty," I put out a suggestion box and everyone responded with great responses, it was hard to choose but there was one that really stood out to me." He holds up the card, "Mrs. (Y/L/N) wrote a meeting room for students and teachers." He looks back to me, he raises one eyebrow. "Do you want to explain?"
